: Looks like the Queen of R&B Soul may have a little one on the way. One of Mary J Blige's relatives confirmed to MediaTakeOut.com that the platinum-selling artist and her husband Kendu Isaacs are expecting their first child.
Mary's kin told MediaTakeOut.com exclusively, "We just found out about [the pregnancy] yesterday and everyone's happy about it.". The family member continued, "Mary and [Kendu] have been trying to get pregnant for close to a year and [they] did it .... They're very blessed in so many ways."
The 36 year old Mary has been married to Kendu for nearly four years. In the past, the entertainer claimed that she wanted 2 kids with her husband. Well, she's almost half way there. Congratulations Mary!!!

For all of you haters bringing up pass issues and putting out negativaty about different child defects, since when was 30+ too old to have a child? Wow, I thought that was when you should start planning are at least when you're financially and emotionally mature enough to handle a baby. Mary self esteem is not measure by the wig she has on her head. Kendu and Mary are very much involved into church. She said time and time again my husband is the reason why I have a closer relationship with God I love God with all my heart that is where my strength come.
She also went on to say no man controls her or runs her life. She would never tolerate that. Mary has made bad choices and mistakes so be it its all part of life and growing. I'm proud that she is no longer on drugs or doing the negative things in her life from her past.
She has now made a transtition from the streets to the family life and thats something to talk about.

I'm confused, so you'd rather respond to name calling than to a genuine question regarding your views? Fine...Feel free to "ban" me (hilarious!!) because I don't do the name calling thing, I left that back in Jr. High School.
However...again, you just stated a FACT (I'll take your word on that 92%) and included your own interpretation of said fact. Similarly, we can state a FACT on the % of black males that are incarcerated and given that fact, we can interpret to mean either A) Black males do more dirt or B) Black males are targeted more. Again, FACT combined with individual assumption. I'm sure we can go on to say that there are *** incidences where blacks are actually targeted same as there are *** "fashions" where black women with long hair actually wear what is called a "quick weave" in order to achieve a *** hair style without committing to the style or women with locks or braids wear wigs just to switch up their style. On the other hand, I have a *** curly natural and I'll admit it has nothing to do with my heritage. I also wear an obscene amount of fashion head wraps, which also has nothing to do with my heritage. They are quick, easy and look good. My point is, people do what they do for reasons unknown to us. Someone can look at me and say her hair is natural (FACT) and then go on to assume that I'm against relaxers, weaves or really in touch with my heritage. All of these things are assumptions bassed on a fact.

Hmm, I think you may be a little off with that one. There are plenty of people who have children OOW who love their children and take care of them, celebrities included. And on the flip, there are married couples who have problems. It's just the "husbands" have to take care of the child regardless if its theirs or not, bcus the child was conceived w/in a union. It says nothing about the love the child will get.

question is...what is natural EXACTLY?!? and if someone says your hair is natural, doesn't it depend on whether or not the person knows what natural is before we can call it FACT? OR even if it were straight or relaxed, what compliment proves a FACT here? b/c some chicks who perm DO NOT do it correct. and some people who go natural have yet to get that down also. NATURAL is so much more than a straw set or that jerry curl mess that black chicks pile on their heads!
i mean, what about the black girl with "natural" wavy or curly hair; that doesn't have that wooly or nappy texture??? i wouldn't assume that she was against perms, weaves or goin back to her heritage...that there, is something we do as far as ethnicty is concerned.

I don't know if you saw the post by Uncle Tom, but he mentioned that no one calls him a liar and I stated that its not appropriate to call someones opinion a lie and that the FACTS he presents are laced with his opinion/assumptions. Like 92% of black women doing whatever to their hair means they have some sort of weird complex. Thats his assumption/opinion. So I'm saying that if I ran across someone like him who knew my hair was natuaral or saw me wearing a headwrap may "assume" it was heritage based or he may assume I shared some of his views same as he "assumes" women who wear weaves or perms have psychological issues. When I say "natural" I'm simply referring to our own hair without chemials. That includes the women with naturally curly/wavy hair which mine is when I cut it ***. When it grows out longer, its just a wavy stringy mess. Nothing cute about it. Thats when I blow it dry and style it. So if someone like him saw me on that day, he'd assume I had a relaxer and was included in his 92% of black women he thinks hate themselves...So I was using that as an example of how it is very easy to ASSUME wrong which I think he has.
