She was commenting on my grandmother speaking well of a cousin's boyfriend (he works two jobs and helps take care of her two children). My sister had the nerve to say that none of that means anything unless a man is willing to marry you. Her husband has cheated on her throughout their 14-year marriage, has left primary responsibility for raising their two kids to her, leaves for weekends whenever he pleases and tells her not to question him about where he's been.
