: Even more drama is unfolding in the T.I. saga. MediaTakeOut.com got some exclusive new details into how the federal agents obtained evidence from TI's home. The insider claims that after arresting T.I., agents conducted a full-scale raid on his home - where a number of children were present, including TI and Tiny's 3 year old son King.
A person close to TI and Tiny told MediaTakeOut.com all about the raid. The insider explained, "They're trying to make it seem like they knocked on the door, handed someone a warrant and searched the home. But that's a lie ... They smashed the windows, broke down the door and ran up in the house with their guns out."
And according to our insider, the federal agents were inches from causing a major tragedy. The insider explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "Before they broke in, they threw some [stun] grenades into the house. [TI and Tiny's son] King was playing right near where one [stun] grenade landed ... God forbid that he were just a few feet closer to the window."
Luckily, the insider confirmed to MediaTakeOut.com that neither King nor anyone in the home was physically injured in the raid. But the source added, "It really is a blessing that no one was seriously hurt ... they had TI in custody already, there was no reason to run up in the man's house like that."

blackraz - this actually happened in my neighborhood growing up. it was the gbi. the guy had three rifles with scopes on them. they'd been watching his house b/c of a nosey neighbor. she thought he was selling drugs b/c he never left the house. and white guys would come to the house throughout the week. comes to find out, the guy worked from home and those white guys were his lawyer and biz partners. in the process his kids were taken away, later returned, but it was a mess. it was a scary scene, but the guy was harmless....

@ kimkelmor - i did say the guns were found in his closet. i just said they weren't machine guns. what was found in his closet (handguns & rifles) isn't out of the ordinary. prior to the arrest there were no guns in his car. they arrested him AFTER the 'purchase' of the machine guns. i'm reading the AJC also, i live here. if u read further on page A14, you'll find how the bodyguard set up the deal, but originally he was to make the purchase. it gets fishy after that. the bodyguard is the one who's been in contact with these folks.

@bigboyhighflyer Cops in Atlanta ain't never been playing from dekalb to fulton they are some azzholes. I have dealt with plenty so i know. Look at the old woman the police killed in atlanta and then said she fired on them and this lady was damn near 90 years old but they busted the wrong house. What about the guy who said the police were trying to make him say he said something that he didn't then when they went to confront him about it he ran and called 911 and they played the 911 tape on the news where her clearly stated that they were detectives from the atlanta police that were after him. I am not saying that all police are bad because they are not and there are some that truly get the job and want to help society out but please believe there are some out there that just want to have that power, (probaly the people with low self esteem back in highschool)it has gotten to the point where you can barely speak to them without them copping an attiude. Come on a cook at MacDonalds was arrested because there was too much salt in the hamburger that the police ordered do you know she had to spend the night in jail over that and had to make bail. They arrested this woman like she was a criminal because the POLICE officer felt it was too salty. I just think that all the police officers should have to under go some type of moral evaluation to really and truly see where there head is at. To have as much authority that they have you should be in that job with the right intentions!

THEY DIDN'T BREAK DOWN THE FRONT DOOR, BUT THEY DID DO DAMAGE TO THE BACK DOORS AND THE WINDOWS. THEY ALSO THREW THE GRENADES IN THE WINDOW- ONE OF WHICH WAS THROWN SOMEWHERE CLOSE TO WHERE KING WAS PLAYING, BUT NOT CLOSE ENOUGH TO HURT HIM. THERE WERE A COUPLE OF ADULTS IN THE HOME ALSO- BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO GO IN LIKE THAT SINCE TI WAS ALREADY IN CUSTODY. AND AS FAR AS HIS GUNS GO- THEY WERE IN A CLOSET INSIDE OF A GUN CLOSET (OR GUN SAFE) THAT COULD ONLY BE ACCESSED BY FINGERPRINT- SO THEY WERE GOOD AND OUT OF THE REACH OF THE CHILDREN. I AM NOT DEFENDING WHAT HE DID, I AM ONLY STATING THAT THE WAY THE FEDS RAN UP IN THE HOME WAS UNNECESSARY BECAUSE THEY KNEW THAT THERE WERE KIDS THERE. I HOPE THAT HE COMES OUT OF THIS SITUATION ON TOP- BUT ITS NOT MY CALL. HE WILL HAVE HIS DAY IN COURT. BUT THE FEDS WERE WRONG FOR GING IN THAT WAY......
That is why black people need to be smarter than we are when it comes to the law. It seems like we are forgetting THEY DON'T GIVE A FUC ABOUT US! So i was hurt when i read this about TI because i wanted him to make it. Hell he grew up on Bankhead highway and for him to go from Bankhead courts to a multi millionare is a big deal where i am from. But he also had to know that because of all his success and where he came from they would be watching waiting for him to fall. From the last time that he was locked up i would have went and sat my azz down somewhere but this just serves as a wake up call. My question is where are the mentors for these young black men with money that came from the street. It is true you can take a person out the hood but you can't take the hood out of the person. I know coming from where he is from (shout out to westside of atl) it's like how do you go from trapping at the citgo gas station to going all over the world and doing shows who is there to sort of steer you in the right way to go? Just a question that i had because it is so easy for people to say change,leave this person alone, but sometimes when you are the industry you feel like the only person you can trust is your homeboy that you grew up with. Stop looking for excuses people. King was in danger because of what HIS FATHER WAS INVOLVED WITH. Again, BLAME T.I. Like it or not if any of this is true, T.I. is wrong. When law enforcement go to do what they have to do to stop crime, and type of crime, they don't think about anything else. That's there job. wow im reading over these comments and it really bothers me... yes having a loaded weapon puts your child at risk. im not saying that but shiit my husband and i have a loaded weapon locked away in a safe but we have one in the home...you never know when someone is going to come in your house. I want to be prepared to blow somebody's head off if they coming for me and mines.
