The coroner found traces of prescription drugs in her system. But they found a substantial amount of cocaine in her body. She was high when she passed.
They also found she had heart disease and water in her lungs.

I saw her cousin Dionne during an interview and I could tell that Whitney died of an overdose by the way she answered certain questions so the family knew sometime ago it was drug related. Whitney didn't have a heart attack just because she had heart disease MTO and she was probably unaware that she even had such a condition. It appears she overdosed therefore; making it an accidental death by drowning. Now ordinarily the cocaine would have her hyper and speeding, but then she was pill popping and drinking alcohol to bring herself down from the frenzy state she sometimes appeared to be in and that is a deadly combination,but a lot of addicts do it. Reputable news sources like CNN state that the coroner confirmed it was a drowning, but nothing about her being high on coke when she drowned. They said the history of her coke use, contributed to her heart being weak, and thus, could have easily drowned from that. Not high on coke at the time of the drowning. I remember clearly and I do believe, but Whitney's sister in law told CNN and Oprah that Whitney was not to be left alone in the bathtub for any amount of time, due to her possibly doing this, drowning while in the tub. I listed her as being on Flexeril which can be a powerful muscle relaxant and can also take you on into la la land if you have a history of illegal drug use.

My heart saddens hearing about how she died. Whitney you were insecure but you were a beautiful woman to me. Looks on the outside truly are deceiving because you rocked boo. This is far from the truth...I encourage anyone with a piece of brain and who is NOT lazy, to actually google the coroner's VIDEO STATEMENT. Whitney Houston did NOT have enough of marijuana or cocaine in her system to kill her LOL. Whitney took a benadryl, after eating her turkey sandwich, smoked a marijuana joint laced with cocaine, took a flexeril, and benzodiazepine, which caused deep sedation, she fell asleep in the tub and drowned. I have no Idea as to why MTO decided print what they wrote. This information is made available publicly by the Los Angeles Coroner's office. They're still testing to see if she had a heart attack, if she dd it would of been the benadryl...TRUST ME! I took benadryl once in 1996 and it sped my heart up, I had irregular heartbeats like a mother. I never took another one. Whitney should of had someone there, they all abandoned her in her final hour.
