: MediaTakeOut.com is sad to report that R&B singer La La Brown (photo'd below) - best known for singing on Lyfe Jennings song S.E.X. - was murdered in Milwaukee,WI.
La La and her boyfriend were found dead inside a production studio on the city's northwest side. The man's brother, who went to check on him after he couldn't reach him, found the bodies last night. Police believe that the couple had been dead for at least a day.
Currently the authorities have no suspects in the slaying.

Is any of this true? I checked the Milwaukee newspaper and television and find nothing about LaLa's murder. I've read other blogs saying she and her alleged boyfriend were murdered at a recording studio several days ago. Not to undermind MTO but, sometimes the reporting is not accurate. Can anyone confirm this information to be true? If so, please let me know. I am from Milwaukee and I personally knew LaLa Brown. I spoke with her Wednesday last week - I had a song I wrote for her 'So Serious' she was supposed to review. I didn't hear anything from her and was wondering what was going on. Saturday morning I found she had been murdered. She was so pretty, so talented and had so much potential. She been doin' her thang for a while now and now the Lord took her home. My condoloscences goes out to her daughter, her mother, father and her entire family.
