: Looks like one of our favorite couples is officially over. MediaTakeOut.com told you a couple of months back that Jennifer Hudson was engaged to her teenage sweetheart James Peyton. We even heard rumors that the two were even married. Well we can officially tell you that the two have decided to call it quits.
MediaTakeOut.com spoke to one of James' family members who confirmed that Jennifer and James, who works as a janitor in Chicago, have officially separated.
And it already seems like Jennifer's moved on. According to reports, she's already dating NFL superstar Kerry Rhodes.

I'm mad that so many of y'all assume that Jen broke up with her ex because of her newfound money and fame - that she "traded up" to a man on the same financial level because suddenly her man of many years wasn't good enough for her. Let's consider this as a possibility.... Jennifer blew up, won the Oscar, made a ton of money, was all over the news, magazines, talk shows - but remained humble and didn't let it get in the way of her love James. But then, maybe he got to feeling like less of a man because he can't give her the things she can now provide for herself. Maybe he ended it.
