First of all, I want to educate the readers on this topic of MJ, OJ, & R.Kelly. I will be quick and to the point. Please be aware my comments are subjective. I am in the legal field and it is by habit I do research because I always want to be armed with knowledge and facts when discussing a topic. MJ NEVER admitted to any wrongdoing in the first case in 1993. If you would have read the official settlement transcript you would all know this. Neither party admitted to wrongdoing. This was not your typical settlement either. MJ the person, did nothing wrong. In 93, MJ just completed the Dangerous World Tour and was planning another one when these charges arose. Michael wanted to fight the charges but his legal counsel advised him to settle this expeditiously because the trial could be long. Johnny Cochran was his attorney whom at the time was being represented in another case by Larry Feldman, the attorney for the family of the accuser. So as you see, this was a conflict. Michael wanted to fight the allegations but at the same time, he wanted it all to be over with to get on with his life. However, MJ refused to settle on the molestation charges because it simply did not happen so he settled on negligence. So, people get the transcript and read for yourselves that the INSURANCE COMPANY paid the family due the admittance of NEGLIGENCE on behalf of MJ, THE COMPANY. We all know insurance does not pay for criminal activity. Both parties agreed to negligence because MJ allegedly took the kid out of the country and did not properly supervise him. PLEASE READ THE TRANSCRIPT, it is a legal document filed in Santa Barbara. Michael never paid a red cent. The boy in the first case refused to testify in criminal procedures and never spoke to his parents since then (going on 14yrs now) for making him say those lies about his friend MJ, and if you would have read the transcript in the 2005 trial, you would have known that kid’s own mother testified on the stand for the prosecution she has not spoken to her son since then. The second trial was a total shakedown – please read Aphrodite Jones’s book, THE MICHAEL JACKSON CONSPIRACY. The whole book is based on actual court transcripts the media NEVER reported. There was never substantial evidence that supported the DA’s charges-NEVER. The prosecution’s case fell apart weeks after the trial began but the judge refused to grant the defense the Motion to Dismiss the case. Instead he continued with this madness and wasted taxpayer’s money. Notice how the media never said anything else after the acquittal of 14 counts. They all found him guilty before the trial was over. OJ was acquitted of all charges, we know that. The case was won because a superb defense attorney put criminal procedures on trial. The police dept did not follow proper protocol when investigating these murders so Johnny brilliantly put his case together based around that – AND WON. Let me bottom line this right now. Despite all OJ’s DNA found at the crime scene, in his bronco, at his house, Cochran was able to raise reasonable doubt and won the acquittal. R. Kelly – is a known pedophile. He illegally married an under aged Aaliyah openly. He never hid his affair with her. When did this become right? IT IS RKELLY on the tapes. Musically or personally, the two can never be put in the same category. I hate when the ignorant comments are posted on this board. We do have the right to have an opinion. You don’t have to like Mike or OJ. But I love Mike and what he has done for music. He is the best at what he does and people do not like that. They even stop counting the sales of Thriller. If you are 30 or over this you should get a laugh out of this. I'm a middle school teacher and I often get a chance to hear the youths opinion on severla things. One day these two girls were talking about Michael Jackson and one of them asked me,"did I like Michael when I was a kid"? Of course I answered yes, then she said "well that was a long time ago when he was black, but what about now that he is white"? She was so serious. Most kids that see Mike now don't understand that he is really a black man. Crazy right?
By the way is there anyone who was blessed enough to see Mike in 1984 for the VICTORY tour? If you saw it, then the whole entire show should be burned into your memory forever. I was 10 years old and we were in JFK stadium in Philly with thousands of people. My Dad had us out there in the cold, but he knew we wanted to see MICHAEL JACKSON. In the 40s, 50s, 60s... studios made up stories for white celebs so their careers could be saved--Rock Hudson, Liberace, Loretta Young (had an out of wedlock child by Clark Gable).
