@ COBonner, I am from NYC Harlem but I know what you mean. A lot of West Indian people don't think they are black. They ARE black. As long as I have known anyone who is West Indian or whatever I have met one woman who actually knows where she ORIGINATES from. Her family and she is from the islands but tracing back, her ancestors aren't from the Islands, and I think they need to be educated on the fact that they are black and where they ORIGINATE from. lol...I am from the Caribbean and when i read what rihanna said that was completely normal. Back home its normal for female friends to take showers with each other and hold hands it does not mean that they are in a romantic relationship...that's just how we do...it's amazing and funny to see the difference between cultures.
