: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that last night R&B singer Keyshia Cole bailed out of a performance last night in Columbus, GA. The concert, which also featured R Kelly and Ne-Yo, was booked more than six months ago.
Apparently Keyshia threw a fit when she learned that she would be opening the show for Ne-Yo and R Kelly. A person backstage told MediaTakeout.com, "Keyshia was cursing and ready to fight ... I wanted to see her perform and all, but I think it was best for her to have just left."
Luckily for concertgoers the rest of the concert went off without a hitch. We're told that both Ne-Yo and R Kelly extended their performances to make sure the fans got their moneys worth.
She's not a big big star yet she just came out like last year or something. She should've done it just for the fans that paid to see her. Now she's looking like a booty, and she just lost some respect from some fans. People don't know how to work their way to the top anymore. They get a couple of hits and think they're owed something, that's not how life works babies.

Stories like this are always amusing…whether true or not, it’s interesting how these “entertainers” get so caught up in their own hype that they forget who they are….an entertainer. IF the people don’t find you entertaining any longer your 15 minutes are up, and no amount of diva behavior, foot stomping or rants will change that. It’s never a good idea for ANY entertainer to take their attitude out on the fans that paid to see them….you can’t get a percentage of ticket or record sales if no one is buying your brand.

The title of the article is not implying that she refused to sing the song "Last Night". The show was last night and she did not perform.
J. Holiday was there. She was to perform after him, but she didn't for whatever reasons. There are different stories floating around as to why.
And as far as what Kels is or isn't...she knew all of this when she signed onto the tour so that should have no bearing on her performances. If she wanted to take a stand on that...she should have not agreed to tour with them. Simple as that. The show was GREAT without her! Just as one of the readers posted, this isn't the first time or tour that she has done that on. I live in Northern California, and she was supposed to do a performance in Fresno (3 hours from LA) and she bailed at the last minute. We heard that she was tired and didnt' feel life performing. And also like another reader said, you can't treat your fans like that because it's the fans that make you who you are.
First of all if you are familiar with the concerts line up (as follows) J. Holiday, Neyo, Keyshia Cole, R. Kelly. That the way it was supposed to go since they started selling tickets back in August. Neyo was just added to the line up about a month ago, so if I was Keyshia, I would be mad a hell also. How are you just going to add someone who was not orginally not on the roster, and have him take my spot. I dont think so. I agree with Keyshia f@%k that.
I live in Columbus, GA and attended the show. I initially thought something was up when Neyo performed right after J. Holiday. Anyway to make a long story short, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed the show from beginning to end. I would have liked to see Keyshia perform but she didn't make or break the show, AT ALL!

I am from columbus and i was at that concert. she didn't make or break the show ,but it would've been nice to see her perform. Well I went to the concert in Columbus, GA and she did not perform! However, I did want to see her perform because I have never heard of her performing live and doing a good job (result of the last BET awards show she was on where she sang "Love" and her voice was gone-which sounded horrible) but the concert did not lack because she did not perform! Neyo and R. Kelly did their thang and made up for it and gave fans their money worth! So maybe Keyshia did us a favor in Columbus!
All I can say is that Keyshia let a lot of people down by not performing in Columbus. Why did she even come if she had no intention to perform. Personally I loved each and every artist that came, but I honestly only went to see her. I loved her current CD and faithfully listened to it daily from the first song to the last. I was highly disappointed and disrespected as to how she spoke about Columbus. I am done supporting Keyshia Cole. I feel that she thought less of fans and more on herself. Who cares if you cant have your way its not about you? Its about your fans and them continuing to watch your show, buying your albums, buying magazines, and whatever else she tries to bring to the table. If I were Kels I would put her off my tour, he doesn’t need her. If Kels told her she was performing first or last it doesnt matter she was being paid to perform. If you want to have all these fancy backdrops, motorcycles and electronics then you have your own tour being the headliner. All she had to do was to do her best at what she was given. Just as others said the SHOW WAS FANTASTIC even though she didn't perform. well I heard a radio interview given by her and she was very hateful and nasty. Even the people who interviewed her were thrown by her nasty attitude. I like Keiysha Cole, and I have always been a fan. But money never changes the way someone acts. She probably has always been like this. I actually believe she did this because I have seen this a while ago on the first season of her reality show. She was acting like a "diva" then. Usually when people act out like that, it is to put on a show for other people. She's been through a lot. Does this justify the reason for the way she acts? Absolutely not. Some people learn their lesson to be grateful while other people have to put on a show for others like they have to prove herself. I'm a star, look at me now. Let me show you.
