My question is why does she bother you? I could see if there was some factual reason, maybe she was contributing NEGATIVITY.
She paid her dues, has a degree worked in journalism for over 18 years(on her own) and raised two kids.

I don't know how much of this story I believe, but if it is true, then I don't understand why she got so upset. People on this Website are normally really big on exposing the down low in our community. Gayle is fair game in my book.
Granted, I would have hated to be in Gayle's position if the story is true. But she and her best friend Oprah are hypocrites if they are more than friends, going after the creeps on the down low, but doing it they're damned selves. LOL I am sure she has put plenty of people in the hot seat herself as a reporter or producer. I am not crying for her. I just think it is pretty interesting that she fell apart because of it. Well, uknow, the hate is stemming from the "I wish I was her deep down inside" thoughts running rampant in every one's mind since Oprah made it big and it became quite obvious her best friend, had in fact, made it big as well. Who amongst us hadn't said to themselves, damn! I wish I was Oprah's best friend? Of course you're going to get the "no I nevers" and the "what fors", but they would be lies. Who honestly wouldn't want a BILLIONAIRE best friend? That's the next best thing to being a BILLIONAIRE ya damn self... and we've all wished for that as well.
Chris is caustic in his humor, always has been. I can't be mad at him. I also am equally understanding of Gayle's feelings toward his "jokes". He embarrassed her in front of a young man that she's probably diggin' and AS A WOMAN THAT HAD TO HURT. Maybe everyone are robots, who knows. Fuggit, she's still rich, has her OWN money, and still enjoys the privileges and luxuries afforded her by simply being the best friend of the most powerful, influential Black woman in the world.
My best friend and I have been close for almost 17 years now. If either of us became BILLIONAIRES or even MILLIONAIRES, the other might as well say that she is RICH AS WELL. That's how we get down. Why the indignities heaped upon them for that very same mentality? Would you leave your best friend standing in the road if you were Oprah? Chris is a comedian and yes he may/may not have been joking considering how much time he spent on her but in my opinion He Went TOO Far.
If I'm paying my money to come support YOU, I don't expect to be the butt of your jokes.
I feel like YOU as a comedian should come prepared with YOUR OWN material and not resort to using your audience. Yes, I know that these types of things happen quite frequently at comedy shows but CHRIS ~ Just because you CAN do it, doesn't mean you SHOULD do it, feel me?
Its a turn-off and makes me feel as if you didn't spend enough of your time preparing material that ALL of your audience could enjoy especially since ALL of us PAID to see you.
