You see, ever since we put up that little disclaimer on the bottom of our stories, TMZ can't get away with stealing our reporting (like they so eloquently did with the Dr. Jan Adams story).
Just in case you're wondering which two stories we scooped them on today, it was the following two stories:
SHOCKER: R Kelly DROPS Ne-Yo From CONCERT TOUR!!! - Posted nearly 2 hours before TMZ caught on.You guys are going to have to stick to doing stories on Britney picking her butt or you might have to hire a few more Black folk over there.Kanye's Touching Tribute To His MOTHER!! - Posted more than 4 hours before those clowns figured it out.
Oh, and for all you guys that think that TMZ is so accurate - remember the story they did on Jay Z dying in a plane crash. It's miraculously gone from their archives, but you can read all about that fiasco right here. And those clowns actually have a budget....

I get that TMZ shouldn't steal your stories, but MTO you need to check yourself on the accuracy issue. That post about Chris Rock's wife is NOT TRUE- where is the correction/retraction. Also, don't act like your inaccurate posts don't miraculously disappear- Where is the Beyonce AMA post claiming that she wasn't going to perform at the show? MIA? Sounds a little to me like the pot calling the kettle black. Check yourself and your facts MTO. I agree with Coleatw- just because some of your readers are black doesn't mean we don't care if your stories are accurate.

Internet reports are swirling that Chris Rock's wife Malaak hit a police officer this morning in New York. Not so, NYPD tells TMZ.
Media Take Out had reported earlier today that Mrs. Rock sideswiped an traffic officer's hand with her car's side mirror. We're told that's not the case. Around 10:00 AM this morning Mrs. Rock was at the intersection of Canal and Bowery in Manhattan. Malaak was given a summons for failing to comply with a lawful order, because a traffic officer on foot directed her to go straight and she instead made a right turn.
It was a minor incident and there was no confrontation. Don't believe everything you read, folks!

The reason I like Dlisted is because MK seems to be one of the rare gossip sites that doesn't pretend to 'scoop' what everybody else has already done. MK not only gives sources, but shoutouts to his readers -- by name -- for directing him to finds. That makes MK a one of a kind dare I say class act.
