It very difficult to get past this type of lose so easily and apparently she had folks around who never craed about her well being. This is not the first time I have heard this. If anyone has paid attention before, her mother was renowned author Bebe Moore Campbell who died recently of brain cancer.
Her last novel is called, "72 Hour Hold," about a mother going to extremes to try and find proper care for her teenaged daughter who is bipolar.
Even though it was a work of fiction, there was clearly some truth to the novel. For a glimpse into what Ms.Campbell and Maia may have experienced, please read the novel.
It is moving, intriguing, and quite disturbing; almost frightening. Mental illness is no joke, folks. |
