I don't watch Desperate Housewives but someone told me that they had a show where the mother pretended to be pregnant to hide her daughter's pregnancy; wore the pregnancy belly and all. I don't think the Alaska Governor should be judge because her 17 year old daughter was drinking/partying and got pregnant. I like her and she represents well. I think when our children get to a certain age they make their own choices no matter what we as parents may teach. On CNN last *** someone said Obama would never have been asked about his job and his children. No, because they already figured it out. Michelle left a job paying over $300,000 to be home with her children while daddy runs for office. When she travels, only 2 days a week, her own mother is with the girls. One of the parents has to make a concession for the children or problems will start popping up that have to be dealt with.
As my children get older, I've had to take flexible jobs too. Parents can't be away and so busy they have hardly any time for their children. If they are, they're ASKING for problems, headaches and trouble.

So what does her daughter’s situation say about her? Apparently mom’s ambition is more important than managing an out of control teenager…or attending to a downs syndrome newborn (IF that is her newborn). She would rather have the opportunity to “legislate” the nation’s morality in the ultimate “do as I say not as I do” scenario. But what “experience” would she base her moral leadership on? Her own failed household? NO thank you.
I for one, and the majority of America, have had enough of the BSing moral (immoral) right wing. This type of duplicitous behavior, hiding questionable events and poor judgment behind the label of “private matters,” and once in the white house, behind “executive privilege” is exactly what the nation wants changed! These people have gotten the title “pubic servant” confused with “personal ambition,” partisan politics, private ideology and corporate interests….things that have little to do with serving the interests of the public as a whole.
In my opinion, McCain's whole strategy in picking Palin was because he thought he could swoon the scorn Democratic Hilary supporters. If this was his rationale, he's a *** fool. Furthermore, for him to claim how "inexperienced" Barack is and then turn around and pick a self-proclaimed "soccer mom" , who's only claim to fame is governor of Alaska and mayor of a city (population MAX 7,000), is beyond idiotic. As far as the polls keep in mind that Obama's supporters are mostly younger folks who do not have land lines and are therefore harder to reach.
The Bradley effect was when people polled said they would vote for Bradley, but did the opposite once they got in the booth.
Obama is running a different kind of campaign and it shows. How else could he beat one of the best political juggernauts, the Clinton's? He wasn't counting on delegates as much as she was.

* Palin is against *** education in school * Against all forms of contraception (condoms, birthcontrol etc) Even for married couples (I'm not sure about the accuracy of the married couple part but some Rep. are extreme Catholics) * Promotes teaching the creation story in school (so think about it, in her world, kids should be taught that babies magically appear, but its immoral for them to know how to protect themself etc), somehow her daughter didnt fall for her "creation story) * She's against ALL FORMS of abortion. Well they may have vetted her for 4 or 5 days but McCain's team have had months to do back ground checks on everyone on their *** list and like I said if he is elected, they'll dump her *** after wards.
