Aubrey was right with everything she spoke, Diddy sucks as a manager and he just can't take the truth. He is the bad guy and the reason behind their flopage of 2nd singles and he just doesn't want to accept responsability. DK was right to be on edge with the departures of Dawn, who can trust Diddy? Most of his artists don't make it past 2 albums so of course they should be worried about the future. It's not wrong to want to know, if he planned on doing something with a member they needed to be ready to counteract. I see the Bad Boy Empire crumbling in two years or less. I can almost gurantee that someone with common sense was watching that show, and they will steal all of his employees away from him. First of all Aubrey talks to damn much. She always wants to be the center of attention and sometimes that ain't good. Now first off...I've never known for someone to over power their boss like that. Ok I'm a bit confused. Diddy said that he didn't have shackles on anyone and Aubrey was free to leave. I know neither side was dumb enough to deal with the other without a contract so is she really "fired" or has the contract expired. Although Aubrey is very extra, she had a valid point. If we are a group and you're singling one person out as the one with a "special" voice and she doing promotional things with the boss, how are the others supposed to feel? All that scene did was reaffirm every negative stereotype associated with Puffy, Bad Boy, & the handling of their artists. This kind of behavior by Diddy is infamous & it's been put on permanent display several times throughout the Making the Band series. Diddy said he wanted to be "real" about the situation & with a legitiment point of view, Aubrey attempted to express that without getting loud, cursing, or sounding condescending. However, the "real-er" Aubrey got, the more perturbed he became. It was obvious in his mannerisms that Diddy doesn't handle the truth well. He's great at dishing it out, but he can't take it.
Aubrey was right. They were brought in together as A GROUP, so why not just have an intimate meeting (like the one we saw the other night) with THE GROUP to say that you chose a member to do some special side work? That would've immediately squashed the gossip about Dawn supposedly going solo because that idea would've already been communicated instead whispered back and forth by management hearsay.

I don’t really care for Diddy however when you know you are dealing with a self absorbed boss you don’t stoop to their level unless you got another job lined up!
While making some valid points Aubrey got too comfortable and was saying things like “You should have told me Dawn was working on some songs with you”….Since when does your boss tell you when he decides to make a decision? Cutting off a CEO/Manager/Supervisor while they are speaking is in their eyes considered insubordination! (sad but true) On a side bar I do think that Aubrey will throw D Woods under the bus I mean she is only hanging out with her because she needs a wing-man at the club! And for crying out loud that girl cannot sing like some of you are saying I don’t care if she is on Broadway part-time! It was obvious that she could’nt sing when she got salty for not getting on songs last season. She would be better suited as a solo artist, now I can’t tell you how many records she would sell but solo seems to be her forte!
There is another episode left and in true Diddy form he may just be doing this for ratings!
HOT BUNNY I was with you for a minute but you lost me! Now Poprah was great for the show as far as ratings go but "the best thing that ever happened to Diddy" I respectfully disagree. If she would have gotten the job she would have gotten fired within the first week due to her mouth!
I have worked with plenty of individuals that come off as “really wanting the opportunity to work with a forward thinking CEO” and/or “really wanting to work at a great co.” but at some point in time they always manage to forget to as you say "Stay in your lane!” and think they are smarter than the CEO and want to run the show! Aubrey and Poprah failed to stay in their lanes!
Now Poprah could have easily gave Diddy the list and just printed what she had but she got out of pocket and said “she couldn’t create a list”. She also wouldn’t have lasted for long because she had a history of blaming everyone else for failing tasks and making herself look like the marter. At some point and time people start to see though you when you are always at the center of a F*%K Up… everybody is not wrong all of the time.
I don’t condone what Dawn did by not telling her group members about the side endeavors but I understand it because if the boss says “I want you to help me out with this confidential project but don’t tell anyone” you do just that! |

Moneybags: White people are taught to think that the world belongs to them, but Aubrey has been complaning all along about the money situation, I can bet that that part was cut out, and they just showed the parts that they wanted to show, and of course he doesn't have to tell anyone anything, but gosh, he was so defensive. I've neer been one to hold my tongue, so I'm with Aubrey, CEO, Pope, president, i don't give a mexican F---! If you mess with my money it's on. Dude is only using Dawn because she writes, and I gurantee, he's going to take all of her publishing, I see right through him. You're also right about Poprah, she did blame others, but she was the smartest hustler in my book, and we will see her again. I liked her and Laverne, I kind of didn't like too much when he threw kendra under the bus after HE messed up with tthe t-shirts, I guess because he knew Kendra was competition, although she was too damned ghetto at times, but smart nevertheless. |
