October 16, 2008. Yesterday MediaTakeOut.com told you that rumors of Beyonce stealing the song If I Were A Boy Were FALSE. Well now we have proof.

One of MediaTakeOut.com's readers contacted B.C. Jean herself and the singer admitted that Beyonce is paying her for use of the song. Below is the email exchange:

I think it's the former, though - you're just bleak, fans who WANT TO RATIONALIZE BEYONCE'S INCESSANT THIEVING AS OKAY. Well here goes: That Beyonce "paid for the song" does not explain away the girl's anger... As for the issue of Beyonce recording someone else's song (that is ignoring the fact that the owner believes herself to have been ripped off)it would not be an issue but for Beyonce's insistence that she writes her own music. In the original story, in fact, the writer says explicitly that sources told him Beyonce's dad wanted to get the rights to the song to give her a writing credit. The point is she's trying to self mythologize - "I'm better than someone who merely sings. I write and produce" is essentially the message she sends. And it just isn't true.

Most of what she has done was just a compilation of someone elses crativity which she has taken and claimed as her own. In both music and video and choreorgaphy. Beyonce is the front runner for the current formula for sucess: Take an attractive, semi-talented individual, insert pre-fabricated material, wisely package and market, saturate the market with thier presence and u have instant sucess. The same happened with Jennifer Lopez, who in essence is one artist that JLo notoriously takes dance routines and video concepts from.Jlo had this same formula. Except where Beyonce's semi talent was Singing, it was interchangeable with JLo's dancing. THe industry knew JLO notoriously was sold pre-recorded, pre-fabricated music where she woudl listen to the original, sing and record it and put it out as her own. Aint that funny was originally written and sung by Ashanti and then Jlo memorized the song and sung it herself. But at least she legally bought the song from Murder Inc. Still, both above artists are no Mariah, Mariah has written her own songs since Vision of Love, and she inputs on the musical composition (the actually putting together of music notes) for her melodies. Alicia Keys composes her own music and writes her lyrics, but also gives writing credit to others who put their input into a song. I have yet to hear of Alicia taken credit for everything she has ever done, and passing others conceptualism for her own. Now, if she steals songs so does everybody in the music industry, ciara,rihanna just to name a few,and we all know rihanna didnt write a damn thing on her album because neyo made that perfectly known that he wrote take a bow,the same thing he did with beyonce, which he co-wrote,but my point is she has no reason to seal a song she has a enough money to buy the song and if the chick didn't want her to have to the damn song she should have said no,i just think some people should stop hating off the chick, and yes i did say hating becuause theres a diffferent between your opinon and hatin, and half of you are hating. I think Michelle will do great when she decides to re-release 'UnExpected'. Which is rumored to happen in January 2009.
