November 11, 2008. Another Day, another Bey controversy. MediaTakeOut.com just caught wind that Beyonce is talking openly about the pretty large age difference between her and Jay Z. And how Jay was IN HIS THIRTIES when he first began dating the teenage Beyonce.

Here's what Beyonce told teen magazine Seventeen:

I was 18 when we first met, 19 when we [officially] started dating. There was no rush - no one expected me to run off and get married.

If Bey is really 27 now (which, BTW, is EXTREMELY SUSPECT in our opinion) that would mean that Jay Z was 32 at the time they "officially" began dating.

Not sure that's the kind of thing that you wanna be telling to a magazine geared towards teenage girls Bey...
