I truly believe that it would be something her mother would want more than anything. When we lose someone the very last thing we know they would want us to do is not be able to move forward. I hope she realizes that she will not be forgetting her family but simply will always remember them; and remember that she is doing this for them more than anyone else.

The house and neigborhood that she was raised in since birth has nothing "hhod" about it. Maybe it's just where I'm from (Bmore), but growing up in $300,00o+ houses immediately declassifies you as "having a hood/struggle-filled upbringing."

I don't know you but I think you should withold comment on anybodys looks. Furthermore, Jen really isnt that big, and might I add. She's gorgeous. I Am only going to address you because I am a fan of Beyonce's as well. A fan of her music and dance though. However,I post my thoughts based on the topic thread. I somewhat agree with what you are saying, “people find a reason” just to hate on Bey. Some of these folks visit the Bey blogs, and ONLY the Bey blogs..nothing else. Some of these are what i call" fanatic" haters…that are obscessed with her without valid reasons..other than trivial shyt. This is irritating too. Beyonce is cute, nice body, great entertainer, love both the cd’s, her hair..etc. Please see some prior blogs.. I give credit. With that being said…I recently, based on the last few post..”changed” a few of my viewpoints and comments. It started with the blog MTO put up about her “offering to sing at the Inauguration”..this irritated me..because it was well known and stated that Jennifer was on the list for that job. I even hear CNN mention it. Another posting stated that she did not contact Jennifer to offer her condolences after a great loss. After that MTO posted something about her feeling she would be the “Best Wonderwoman character” …etc. Then, Yesterday she told a teen magazine about the age and timeframe that her and Jzee started dating..which was 18 and 32. This was tacky and clearly inappropriate for a “teen” magazine. Who wants a teen to think that is ok. Every teen is different. This was tacky…and I was disappointed.
So you see, while you have a good view, you have to look at each thing in perspective. At this point I’m just a little irritated with her…and I expressed it in those last 3 blogs. Now when it comes to silly blogs like…she waving her hands like a queen..that’s silly. No comment. But lately, she has irirated me and Is coming off a bit selfish and loathing. I hope that Jennifer Hudson does it. I think that she's an appropriate person to sing for the event because of her image & her talent.
I like Beyonce & yes, she is one of my favorite artists. I think that she's a great singer, dancer, and she has great stage presence. Now the acting needs some work; it's definitely not good enough to win an Oscar. Frankly, I don't understand why everybody on here is straight hating on the girl after every move that she makes. If you don't like her music, then fine but y'all need to chill out. Most of y'all are hating on her without a valid reason except for your assumptions.
As far as the inauguration goes, she said that if she was asked to sing or if they needed her, then she'd do it. But let's be real, the image that Beyonce portrays in her videos & her music probably would not put her at the top of the list for singing at the inauguration. J. I think its time for Jennifer to go back to work. Her career is in jeopardy and now with her family gone that is really all she has left. The longer she stays away the more Hollywood will be reluctant to cast her in movies for fear that she is unstable or is somehow associated with a drug hit and will not want to insure her for a movie. I only know this because all actors have insurance waivers that must be approved and if you are considered a risk no one will insure you like Lindsay Lohan. Unfortunately this "ghetto" mess from Chicago does not play out in Jennifers favor when it comes to white executives doing the casting and they may be fearful that she will be a target of a drug hit and may not want her on the set. This is the ugly truth about how Hollywood works and no one is going to say it publicly but her career is going to take a hit, even though it is totally unfair and not her fault. Right now she was supposed to be shooting a video and promoting her next single and supporting her album on a mini publicity tour and all of that matters in getting record sales. This tragedy is costing this poor girl millions. I don't know who is advising her, but she needs to get back to work and at least shoot her single for the next single. Her career really is at crossroads and how she handles things from this point on is going to have a lot to do with her future. |
