I lost my 18 day old son on November 5th. He was born premature. And he was my only child. One of my so called best friends I met in college, didn't call me, text, email or nothing and still hasn't to this very day. Now that hurt my feelings.

There were other chics who knew about my son passing that I had either worked with or went to college with who didn't reach out to me, but we were not friends, and guess what their condolences didn't matter to me because we weren't like that. Their reaching out would not have impacted my life or my mourning, but my so called friends' would have. I believe that the ones I wasn't cool with were praying for me and everyone can use an extra voice in prayer during these times.

Beyonce and Jennifer were not friends. If it's not in your heart to call someone or reach out to them, but it's in your heart to pray for them, then you're better off doing what's in your heart. That way, regardless of who judges you for your actions, God will see them as good because you went with your heart and when your heart tells you to do something, we know that it's the spirit of God whispering to you.

Jennifer looked “upset but managed to keep herself together” as she joined 450 mourners at Chicago’s Apostolic Church of God to bid a final farewell to her mom Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and seven-year-old nephew Julian King, who were fatally shot last month.

The Oscar-winning actress entered the church with her fiance David Otunga, following a procession of two hearses and a horse-drawn carriage which carried Julian’s coffin. Once inside the building, Jennifer, 27, spent some time in front of the open caskets of her brother and nephew, before touching her mother and leaning down to kiss her.

A source said: “David was at Jennifer’s side for the entire service, wiping her tears and holding her. Jennifer looked equally in shock and mournful throughout the service, but managed a smile when speakers shared their memories of her family.

"Jennifer looked upset but managed to keep herself together.”

The service ended with a rendition of gospel hymn ‘Your Grace and Mercy’, sung by Fantasia Barrino – who won the third series of TV talent show ‘American Idol’, the programme which catapulted Jennifer to fame.

I understand where you are coming from. I don't know her at all but I feel horrible about this situation. Yet MTO seems to point out one person as if it is her job to pick up the phone without understanding what type of relationship they have. It would have been a good thing to do if they had that kind of relationship but to say that she and her family are praying (if one believes in prayer) is enough.
