I agree, that she should have gone into a back room .but I disagree with what you said about us as a people, not being able to get ahead…because as an individual you determine your own destiny. And as a people , we have progressed a lot.This young lady needs to catch up. We have our first black president in office and a plethora of other blacks in high positions that are very influential...so we have progressed. The problem is we do not have enough role models in our local communities to encourage men and women to have self esteem and class. We have the rappers and the video ho’s presenting an image that enables negative behavior from these young girls at parties and concerts. Seeing this without any parental and community intervention will lead to more behavior like this. I feel that our culture along with our hip hop music influences and promotes this behavior more often than we think.
