PL, why did you have to stop last week? Curious because I'm thinking of doing this too and I'd like to know how mentally prepared I should be. I'm more worried about the side issues with my BP (hereditary) in general and if there will be side affects with my meds. Another concern is that woman time.
UT, seeing how you are a veteran at this, how many days do you recommend for a newbie? I do a lot of walking (got kids and a Golden Retriever who needs LOTS exercise). Don't eat salt or a lot of fried foods (if rarely and because of BP). I have a bad habit of not eating. Most days I only eat once and that's dinner. I appreciate any insight and help. |

I had to stop because I was using organic grade A and it shouldve been grade B to supply my body with all the nutrients it needs. You definitely have to psych urself up to do it and stay positive. I think it might be beneficial if you do it considering your BP situation, but Im no Dr or healer so dont take my word for it. LOL

I dont really like to classify myself as a vegan as such...I havent eating animal products in about 7 years, but im a survivalist and I know how to fish and I am a deer hunter and learned how to catch a deer in case we need venison and fish to be able to survive a winter and have a source of clean meat(venison) and fresh lake caught fish (bass, sunfish, and even the catfish is push came to shove)...Every man should know how to hunt and fish and every woman should know what herbs and barks are edible, which are poisonous and how to prepare good mushrooms and such for food.
Thats why I dont like to call myself a vegan...I just like to say I try to eat at least 70% raw fruits and veggies to maintain an alkaline bloodstream...Too many vegans I see are fanatical about veganism and they dont keep it real..Sometimes , you may need a little animal flesh or fish and sometimes your body may call for you to have a little salmon or something..Hasnt happened to me yet, but if it does, Im just gonna eat it happily...I'll eat pork too, if there was a hog to shoot and my family and I were starving. |

Correction boo...a stroke attacks the left side of the brain and affects the right side of the body. I did my thesis paper in college on brain attacks.
I know of several people close to me that have suffered strokes. There are simple test that you can do when you suspect someone of having a stoke.
1. Have them squeeze your hand with all their might to test their strength.
2. Have them say a simple sentence to check for slurred speech.
3. Ask them to raise their hands above their heads. |

My baby Alicia is healthy. This leads to my lopsided head speech:
One time my homeboy was giving me a haircut when i looked in the mirror and noticed how freakin' lopsided his head was. he went on to say "it's not as lopsided as your freakin' head".
