: NBA player DeShawn Stevenson has found a new and innovative way impress chicks on MySpace. He's posting up photos of himself and his American Express Black Card.
Initially we figured that we'd black out the credit card number before we'd post the picture. But DeShawn posted the images on his public Myspace account. So since he ain't worried about hiding the numbers, we have to believe that these numbers aren't still valid. Otherwise he's the dumbest man on the face of the earth....

I really detest this about our culture as African Americans. In most cultures, unless you are 5 or more generations of wealth, you are considered "Nouveau Riche". And since when did having a credit card make you rich anyway? Looks to me like you are just likely to be in more debt than the average working person.

Colleges make millions of these so called student athletes and they walk around barely able to buy themselves dinner...They need to pay those kids if they are going to sell tickets to people to watch them play...If they are going to give teickets away for free, thats another story.
