Beyonce Set To Remake Aaliyah's 'One In A Million'

BEYONCE SET TO REMAKE AALIYAH'S 'ONE IN A MILLION'

October 24, 2007. Last week MediaTakeOut.com told you that R&B singer Ciara is trying to record a duet with deceased R&B great Aaliyah (using samples from unreleased tracks). Not to be outdone, it now appears like Beyonce Knowles will be working with the legendary singer also.

But instead of doing a duet with Aaliyah, Beyonce plans on remaking one of her most popular songs - One In A Million. According to an industry insider, Beyonce's camp are waiting to get the thumbs up from Aaliyah's estate before they move forward.

The insider explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "[Beyonce] is looking to honor Aaliyah with the remake. If [Aaliyah's] family doesn't want it done, then it won't be done."

	Jebus no! The beauty of One in a Million is that it was simplistic. Not flashy, not over the top, not in your face. Basically it was everything Beyonce is not. I cringe just thinking about her wailing all over this song. I would be fine with Ciara because her and Aaliyah's styles are similar but please not Beyonce. (Call me a hater, she might be a good singer but I wouldn't know because half the songs on the radio consist of her shrieking and I'm just not interested enough to purchase her albums to see if she does better on other tracks. 	I totally loved Aaliyah. "One in a million" is one of my favorite songs of all time, and I'll have a hard time hearing it from someone else but Bee has the talent, so I'm sure she'll do it justice. Beyonce the solo artist does take breaks, it's jsut that she was also involved with DC so we were constantly seeing her. You definately can't be mad at her because she's good at what she does and doesn't have any competition, and hasn't had any for a long time. In the music business, you really have to get while the gettings good sometimes and that's what she's doing.
