Leave Jamie the hell alone. Why the f*ck do yall expect her to already have a high school diploma at the age of 16? Did you? I know I was 17 going on 18 and I was never held back. We have teenage girls who get pregnant everyday and just give up on everything except a check. Give this girl some credit. She didn't abort her child, even with all of the drama the press brought to her and she is at least trying to finish her education. I commend you Jamie and I pray that you keep a strong mind and the Lord will definetly be with you. He never give us more than we can handle, some people just choose not to handle it properly. So what, she's not the first and won't be the last. What is the big deal about her being a pregnant teen, the fact that she is the sister of Britney, what..are they without fault, have they no flaws??? Millions of young adults have children and continue in school everyday whether it through a high school diploma or via G.E.D, and some of them do an excellent job at it.

I too was a pregnant teen going into the 11th grade. I finished highschool and I am now in college. She will be fine. She has a supportive family and the financial means to support her child!!

For the record--the GED is the only way home schooled children can receive a DIPLOMA. Please do not tell me otherwise, considering I a Chief GED Examiner and I give the GED test twice a month. She only has to have proof of being home-schooled or have passed a certified GED program because legally she is not of age to take it. I wish the media will find another family to hound, they are going to drive Brittney over the edge. This is another version of Anna Nicole Smith's tragedy of a life. Enough already!

@Hercules98 good call!! Black people dissin her for getting an education. Education has always been an issue for many of us. In high school a lot of black kids wanna sit in the back of the class and tease the students that actually try to learn. As of 2006 only 50% of black kids were getting their high school diplomas. At least she's getting her GED. She knows that it's gonna be hard to be a full-time mom and go to school. She can still go to college after her little one is old enough for day-care. ACTUALLY, she's getting her High School Diploma. Just because Jamie Lynn has a GED book in her hand does not mean that she's getting her GED. When you go to get your High School Diploma, everyone who's in the classes study with the same book because it has the same material that's needed for both exams. I know because I got my High School Diploma early by doing the same thing. It's actually the smarter thing to do because you won't be seeing pics of a pregnant Jamie Lynn in Chemistry class, and it's SO easy it'll make you pissed that you wasted so much time/money in High School. The colleges don't require half of that sh*t to get your HS Diploma (which is signed by the president of the state board board of ed) and I didn't see anything about no damn rocks and birds when I was taking it!

Umm, hello...she's an ACTRESS. I worked on another Nickelodeon show, where the teen actors worked with their on-set teacher for the schooling. All of the series regular kids were going to take the G.E.D. That's the way it is. And some of them were able to finish up school early, as a result of the teaching they got on set. Much better than public school where teachers don't always care if you do well or not. The kids also have to maintain a certain grade point average in order to remain employed on the shows. This is not the big deal that MTO is trying to make it out to be. All the dayum mistakes MTO makes in its stories, looks like its writers could benefit from having received their G.E.D.s
