: DETROIT (AP) — City Councilwoman Monica Conyers and an aide to Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick have filed separate police complaints accusing each other of making threats during a pension board meeting.
DeDan Milton claims the council president pro tem and wife of U.S. Rep. John Conyers threatened at Wednesday's meeting to get a gun and shoot him.
Conyers said through her spokesman that she was threatened by Milton.
David Clark, the city's General Retirement System chairman, told The Detroit News that Monica Conyers ran toward Milton.
Conyers and Milton verbally sparred after Milton asked to move forward on an investment issue Conyers wished to discuss, Clark said.
Board trustees already had covered the issue before Conyers arrived at the meeting, he said.
Conyers spokesman Sam Riddle said Milton initiated the incident when he used an expletive in telling Conyers to be quiet.
Milton had to be restrained, said Riddle, who also said he had to hold back Conyers during the exchange.
"You can ask anybody else in that room," Milton said. "I don't know where that's coming from."
Both Conyers and Milton filed police reports on Thursday.
Conyers said in her report that they later apologized during the meeting, the Detroit Free Press reported.
The pension board flap takes place as the City Council is looking into a confidential agreement and $8.4 million payout Kilpatrick authorized following a whistle-blowers' trial.
The council also has approved hiring an outside attorney for its probe and requested an audit of Kilpatrick's office and the city's Law Department.
Im willing to bet money Monica Conyers did that. She got in trouble a couple years back for getting into a bar fight at this *** club called "Bottoms Up" on Livernois. She's hood as hell. Her spokesman Sam Riddle is a real b!tch made fool who needs to *** the hell up. He had much *** to say about Kwame...true hater for real!!!

2.Milton made a police report only after Conyer called the police and made a report.... I trust nothing anyone who work for the mayor says...
3.He Has a friend who tried to kill a man and the Mayor granted him a city grant for construction....he was sentenced to jail time...but some how this man serves his time in a local precient---part time jail time---12 *** to 6am

5.He charge the city 8 million to *** his long time friend....because of his lies...couldnt admit it!
6.This same lady was granted a loan for low incomes families to purchase a home--In Rosedale Park....her income for working for the mayor was about 147K...(cant remember exactually)...
7.He pruchased automobiles charged to the city and blamed it on the police department as undercover cars....
8.He charged over 100K of purchased to the city for personal expences...shoes and clothes...
9.His crew is dump as rocks.....
The feds said they were headed to Detroit 3 years ago because of monies they sent for homeowners to be granted for improvements....only a small percentage was use for families...and most of the item were uses the work was substandard....even after the work the banks still said NO...not good enough to carry a mortgage...go back to point 3. and thank him for that....
If I were Conyers I would approach them the same way-- Mayor included... Hell she may have said it....But they may be actually thinking it....
He started it by telling her to "*** THE *** UP ". After that, it was on and poppin. She is "HOOD", and won't back down from anybody. Watching their council meetings on public cable is like bringing back AMOS & ANDY. I wish the city would pick the council by neigborhood districts rather than city wide.

I agree with Yves 1000% Our city is going straight to the dogs, yet again. For a second, around 2005-06, things were starting to turn around, but not anymore. Even the suburbanites, yuppies and buppies are holding off buying all of these overpriced lofts downtown. Kwame just needs to leave office for anyone to have anymore faith in our city.

I thought John Conyers was her father........he is much older than her, anyway-Monica Conyers better slow her road, I don't care how "hood" she is, there is always somebody crazier than you. I live in Metro Detroit area and from Kwame on down the city officials are a bunch of ignorant, shady, unprofessional people.
