I'm no longer a fan. She is an embarrassment with that nasty demeanor. Why would you go on a weight loss show, if you don't want to lose weight unless it is for publicity? She has no talent, yet she is trying to be a diva. Then, she wants to get an attitude, because she is not doing the work to lose the weight and gets called out. By what standards is she considered skinny? She needs to focus on being healthy instead of turning heads before she has a heart attack or stroke by age 30.

First off what everyone needs to understand is most of the time what we see on television isn't always the whole story. Does anyone know how much footage ends up on the cutting room floor? Yes Toccara was goin off...but what we probably didn't see is all the effort and hard work she had been putting in on the show. I relate with her frustration. She had a very difficult time on AMTM as well and when you live in a society that is fueled off of image who wouldn't be pissed? Most of the time on these reality shows the participants are "goated" into going off....who knows what pushed her to the edge...it makes good ass copy and high ass ratings. Truth be told when you are in that situation anything anyone says comes off as they are picking on you. You don't hear anything but the bad. For years I would go to doctor appointments and i could go in there wih a cold and leave with the doctor saying the reason i'm sick is because i'm fat. So I decided to take that as motivation. Plenty of times i wanted to do the same thing Tocarra did in doctor's offices. I had to decide i wanted to live and not die. That i wasn't here to make people happy but to make myself HEALTHY. Besides being wanting to fit in cute clothes, I think it is important to remember to be healthy. I have lost a lot of weight since those days but still I'm working on it. It isn't a fast or easy process and if it is trust me something is wrong. I just don't think with her wanting a career as bad as she does this was a good look. She is so worried about a career when she may very well may not be alive to see it blossom. Not to make this racial but Black people: we got to do better. Encourage those that are overweight to make better choices. Don't just be negative. Even those that are fit and smoke or drink excessively, you are just as dangerous. Those who have sex recklessly, you are in the same danger. Our communities need you and your gift to the world. We may not all be living our life in front of the world  like some of these reality stars but believe me when I say someone is watching even if it is your child, a neighbor or someone you don't know. We have got to do better.

There's ALWAYS a civilized way to get your point across and that WASN'T it. ok first for those that didn't watch the fist show Dr. Ian pointed out that everybody on the show isn't on the show to lose weight...the white girl from Happy Days & the white guy who hosted the 1st season of American Idol are both on the show & neither one needs to lose much weight(their goals for the entire show is like 8lbs)...but the focus is reducing the % of body fat, and toning and sculpting your body

Toccara doesn't "need" to lose weight, but she does need to reduce her % of body fat(currently 38%) & we know that as a result of a heathier diet she will lose some weight...she never said she didn't want to lose weight, she said 173 was too small (which is her goal weight)

I understand Tocarra completely (don't agree with her outburst), but I understand...we focus too much on the number on the scale & the size of our clothes and not our overall health...it's a big misconception that a small body = a healthy body and that's not true...how many people do you know that weight less than 170 & eat all kinds of unhealthy food and never exercise?

I c what happened instead of confronting them when the problem first arrived she waited until she was angry. She should have waited until she calmed down. TIP for Tocarra - Sweetheart if you don't know how to communicate without using profanity then you have a serious personal problem. There are ways to be intellectually condescending without raising your voice and cursing if this was what you were trying to accomplish. Talk to me for some 1 on 1 you would be surprised on how much much MORE it pisses someone off without making yourself look foolish.

First of all, for those of you that have never been on a reality show, then you should keep the negative comments to yourself. THOSE SHOWS ARE SCRIPTED!!!! DID YOU HEAR ME? THOSE SHOWS ARE SCRIPTED!! Secondly, her anger could have very well been genuine. But what they tape and what they show after editing has been done, are two totally different things.

I think Black people take their celebrities for granted. In a time when there are very little black people on television, Black viewers lash out at them with an superior attitude. Nobody is a good enough Black celebrity for Black people. Black people are their own worst enemies and they don't seem to realize it. While you're so busy attacking Tocorra's character, have you noticed the Caucasian Psychotherapist, banging on the desk and clapping in Tocorra's face? That's very classy, especially coming from a supposed "professional," isn't it! I wonder why Dr. Ian didn't make the same suggestion to her. Where was her class? I've never seen any type of therapist or psychologist bang on desks and clap their hands in someones face. When Dustin Diamond used profanity and lashed out at the panel last season, there was no mention of "class." When Harvey, a panel member, launched a profanity laced tirade on the last season, there was no mention of "class" or "acting like a gentleman." When Dr. Ian called someone a "Fat Ass," no one ever questioned his "class." Why is there a double standard when it comes to black women? Why does class become an issue whenever Black people open their mouths? The panel of so called professionals did not handle this situation with any type of "class" or professionalism whatsoever. You don't bang on desks, claps your hands, yell, and antagonize an irate person. Mediatakeout is a venue to bring down black celebrities. I wouldn't be surprised if white people were behind this website. If you're going to accuse Tocarra of acting a fool, you better include everyone on that panel. Because they have all acted a fool on this show in the past and in this episode.

Why don't this chick's five minutes of fame come to an end already. She has no acting skills, talk show skills, no nothing to always be on Television somewhere. Let someone else come out and shine in her place for a change...PLEASE!!!

From the previous post two things are apparent. 1. The majority of you all have not watched the show but are passing judgement based on a 1min and 17 second edited clip. 2. Many of you do not have a clue when it comes to fitness.

The panel stated themselves that the show is about getting them in shape and not necessarily losing weight. Tocarra does not want to be smaller, she wants to gain more muscle mass however is perfectly fine with her size. Losing weight does not necessarily equate less fat percentage. A 125lb 5'5 chick can have 25% or more body fat, etc. Tocarra is 38% fat and she realizes that she needs to lose fat percentage but her goal is not to lose the thickness (think of Serena). Tocarra loves herself and there is nothing wrong with that and she stated what needed to be said. She was emotional but so what. Get over it. None of you all are in her situation or have been so dont fix your mouth to say you would have done this or that. And there is nothing wrong with using opportunities from the past to push forward. If you did it you'd probably be further in life.

SHe is on the show because it is an opportunity for exposure. Anytime you can get on ANTM and pose nude with girls half your size I would have to say that you are happy with yourself. That white chick started clapping and putting her finger in Tocarra's face but everybody wanna get on Tocarra and Dr. Ian's Oreo butt need sit down. She did not feel like her work was being recognized and she had to what she had to do. Why is she on the show is such a stupid question. One could ask the same thing about Flavor of Love but you already know the answer. Big girls are already expected to have this larger than life personality anyway so they have to step up if they want work in the entertainment field. Who has ever known a plus size woman in the entertainment industry who was not either described as a diva, saucy, bubbly, or having a larger than life personality? That is what you have to have and Tocarra has it. I ain't mad at her.
