I beleive Magic is a carrier of the HIV virus but is immune to the virus himself. This means he can give it to others without coming down with AIDS himself, much like Typhoid Mary back in the 50's. She was a waitress in NYC who was a carrier of the typhoid fever without becoming afflicted herself. I'll tell you how he does it, 6 loaves of potatoe bread each morning stuffed with 8lbs of fried bacon, ham, and 25 links of pork sausages. Then for lunch he'll go a little lighter and eat 5 loaves of bread instead of 6. For Dinner he basically winds-down with a low fat liquid meal of slim fast mixed with half and half cream and a side of bacon.

HIV and AIDS are different' And individual can live for as many as 30 yrs with HIV. When it progresses to AIDS they can start on medication and control it or bring the viral load down.
In Africa, so many people live with HIV for about 5 yrs without the knowledge that they suffer from it. With the right medication one can live on for a long time.

Wow..most of you know nothing... and that includes MTO. Since when did HIV positive people have trouble gaining weight? If you are at a point where you're very sick or you get an infection, pneumonia, etc..yes you can lose weight, but that's not the norm for all of them. I know someone with full blown AIDS that is quite fat and in *** most of the people they've shown talking about their illness are normal weight. It all depends on the individual's condition. Magic in particular has HIV not AIDS and he takes his meds regularly so that he has reached the point where the virus is still there, but it's so low it is hardly detectable in his system. He is not cured..but in good condition. I've done alot of reading on HIV/AIDS. Maybe yall should too.

I dont know why people think magic paid for a "cure" he is taking the same antiretro medication that all hiv patients take, if there was a cure there would be a lot of people still living who passed from complications of hiv/aids, when u take ur meds and exercise the viral load is virtually undetectable, meaning the viris is not allowed to mutate(make copies) in the body, with that said an hiv person can live longer than a person not infected with hiv, which is now considered a "chronic condition" not a terminal one. just as diabetics and other people live long lives with their ilnessess so can and hiv person, so afro americans please do your research and know what u are talking about if we put more time in learning and being educates on hiv/aids the world would be a better place. magic does not have access to a cure or special meds check it
Magic was in great physical condition when he was first diagnosed and he could afford the thousands of dollars for medications while others were dying. Those are some of the reasons the man is still doing well with this disease now.
People have been living with HIV for over 20+ years now and are healthy like Magic. Some people gain weight and are not ravaged by the disease because they follow their doctor's orders and take care of themselves.
Magic is HIV+ and no he didn't receive a false positive reading. Who would make up having a deadly disease in order to promote himself?
There's no such thing as being immune. He still has the disease, however it is at very low levels in his blood.

Magic was a spoiled bachelor back in the day. However, he has redeemed himself by being an excellent businessman in the inner cities, husband, father and outspoken for HIV/AIDS. That speaks volumes for him.

My cousin, (RIP) passed away some years ago of AIDS, and even up until the day of her death, she looked just as pretty as ever. Her hair was lustrous, her skin was flawlwss and her body looked in tip-top shape-again, YOU CANNOT TELL JUST BY LOOKING!
He can afford the medication......17 years ago he was diagnosed...shows that the medicines have come along way. Back in the 80's people were dying with less than a year to live. I know folks who have *** to AIDS and the disease doesn't discriminate against anyone.

Your dead wrong. HIV and AIDS is not like is was back in the day when actor Rock Hudson had it and it literally reduced him to a human skeleton. Research has prolonged folks lives and HIV is no longer a death sentence. An ex coworker I know has been living with the disease well over 10 years now and he's nowhere near death. After I found out about this disease I did extensive research because there is no way in hell that I'd ever want to catch this disease.
For you to say that he's promoting himself is straight wack....NO ONE would promote having HIV to better themselves...are U crazy?
It really does depend on the person's immune system. Some are more damaged than other which makes them drug resistant.
