Hello MTO!…I am an avid reader of your site and I think I should share some “shocking” news. Please post this for the fellow MediaTakeOut.com readers. I was in China last week for a short vacation. I was at the all-you-can-eat buffet and just as I was going to my car, this colored man accidentally bumped into me, knocking to me to the ground. Startled, the guy apologized and asked if I was ok. As I got up and dusted my self off, I looked at who he was. And Lo and Behold---IT WAS 2 PAC!! I couldn’t believe my eyes!! I said, “Man, you look like 2PAC!” And he said, “N!gg@, I AM 2 PAC!” …..“WESTSIIIIIDEE”, he proclaimed as he threw up the “Westside” sign. And then he told me about how he has a new double-disk album coming out this fall. He said guest appearances will include: Britney Spears, Lil Wayne, Beyonce, Jordan Sparks, Norah Jones, Soulja Boy, Justin Timberlake, T-Pain, Chris Brown, Sean Kingston, Carrie Underwood, Sanjaya Malakar, Rihanna, Lloyd, Jamie Foxx, Ciara, and hopefully Timberland. He said the first single should be out in July, hopefully around Independence Day, but there WILL BE NO VIDEO!!! He told me that he plans to return to the U.S. in 2018. He also said that he wanted to vote for Obama, but that he was afraid that if he cast his ballot, he would blow his cover. I know this may seem false, but he REALLY was in China. I can not honestly tell you the name of the restaurant because it was in Chinese, of course. But it was in Taiwan. He wasn’t with anyone, but he did leave in a 2008 Rolls-Royce Phantom. It was amazing! It was black with the license plate entitled: WESTSIDE. He did give me a contact number but made me promise not to give it to the media. He also gave me an autographed copy of the new CD and it’s a certified banger, as you guys say.! He told me that I could let everyone know that he appreciates their loyal support and to be sure to cop that new album in August. Please post this MTO! Let everyone know about 2PAC’s return.

I don't believe this story for one second, Jordin is not selling any tickets and this is the polite music industry way of kicking her off the tour. Within 6 months she will be dropped from J Records all of the artists are on J Records so they were trying to give her exposure and it wasn't working. Trust me, I used to work in the industry, they are not fooling anyone with this "dramatic" exuse she is too young to even have such a "dramatic" illness happen to her voice after less than 2 weeks on tour please.... |

Jordin Sparks cannot sing that well at all in my humble opinion. Melinda Doolitte was far better than she last year, but looks'll get ya where you want to go. So will Daddy's money.
I do hope she gets better soon, but not hearing her voice wouldn't devastate me in the least. |

I'm sorry but I agree with Andre..Melinda Doolittle can sing better..In fact everybody was rooting for her until she got kicked off..Now they want to act like they don't know her..I don't want to say the same thing everybody said about Jordin Sparks..She'll be fine..I'm not really a fan of hers..I just like her last song..but I think my neighbor likes the song more than I do because she plays it to death..hmm..Maybe Jordin taking a break might not be so bad..lol |

SexyBiFemGirl, if you have to ask what being half-White has to do with where Jordin is, there's nothing any of us can say to you. All we can do is respect your opinion and lack of knowledge about the state of Black America.
I will say this...Jordin Sparks is NOT considered Black by mainstream America. That's why they can accept her as she is. She grew up in an all White town, with White best friends and acts like a straight up White chick. She has NO knowledge at all of a Black experience. The only thing connecting her is her wannabe daddy who's darker than I.
I also agree with SistaPoetry. However, Jordin's success with this latest song is due to Chris Brown's popularity; not her vocal skills. She sounded a solid hot mess on American Idol the other Wednesday. It reminded me all over again why she "won". |
