Soap money is not chump change. As I said, some get paid $30g's+ a week. And that was the figure from some years ago, so I know the money is longer now. But that's 15.6mil a year because they work 5 days a week like regular folk.
I don't watch soaps anymore, but they are not the bottom of the barrel.
They are some of the best actors and actresses because they have to do their job day in and day out instead of jut for a 2hr movie.
A lot of big stars get there stardom on soaps and it propels them to the next level.
Shemar has reprized his role on Y&R several times even though he's doing is thing on Criminal Minds. |
