: Ever since the wedding, there's been speculation in the media that Nick and Mariah are expecting a child. Well the due date may be a lot closer than anyone could have imagined. MediaTakeOut.com just received an EXCLUSIVE report that Nick and Mariah are in the process of adopting a new child.
We spoke to a person claiming to have inside details of the adoption. That person, who requested anonymity, told MediaTakeOut.com that Mariah is "close to finalizing the adoption of a Caribbean girl." And there's more - according to our insider, the girl Mariah's adopting is "3 years old and of bi-racial heritage."

I think she is very centered since she sought professional help for her issues. During MTV cribs she had a guest room for her true fans and she was surrounded by regular looking friends. She has a dog and is willing to take on someone else's child. Hell now a days it's hard enough to get a young man to take care of the kids he brought into the world and if Nick is willing to be there for a stranger then why not share the wealth. I have a kid but if I couldn't have any more kids I would not adopt because I would enjoy the rest of my life. Well thats great! It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that she wanted to adopt a child. Thats a big commitment but who knows what was going to happen. Their in like a fairy tale world right now. They're probably more in lust than in love. But I won't be the one to take their happiness away from them.

MTO, I don't know if you're right about this one but in a recent interview Mariah did say she look forward to raising a child with a different childhood than she had plus she said Nick is the partner to help her do that.
These 2 seem so happy. I'm happy for them. There appears to be something real about it. No past groupies, no one claiming to have a broken heart where someone left him/her, etc.
Nick said they were friends for a while, even though the marriage seems as if it happened overnight.
I wish Nick and Mariah just as much happiness as Angelina, Brad and their brood. I like celebrities who seem "touchable."
This really is not all that surprising. After the plastic surgery and yo-yo dieting Mariah has done, she doesn't seem to be the type who would want to risk being out of shape by having a baby. It does seem soon, but she did get married after knowing her husband after six weeks. Then again based on amount of truth posted here, I'll believe it when I see it verified by at least 2 reliable news sources.
