Is this even a true story? If it is Vanessa should use more restraint around her daughters, but on the same note a reporter shouldn't publish any child's schedule because it could be a safety issue. I don't know why Vanessa doesn't just get a divorce already. She comes off as the unhappiest, nastiest person on the planet and her husband doesn't even want to be around her, that's why he's always cheating. I think the only reason kobe is still married to her is because they had no prenup and two kids so he'll be paying out the ass in terms of a divorce settlement. |

my two cents....first of all, MTO didn't say "child abuse" with a period or exclamation point like it was a fact, but with a question mark...like could this be....? anyway. those of you who are saying why did the reporter print the kids' schedule...she didn't. she actually wrote about a little convo she had with vanessa where she (vanessa) mentioned some of the activities that the kids were into, like dance class and soccer. the reporter did not say, oh they're on La Brea at Nay Nay's dance studio at this time. if a person really wanted to find that stuff out, then he/she would have to be very obsessed and would have to do more research than simply reading this reporter's article. like someone commented above, i think vanessa was classless to go at the reporter outside the locker room, cause hello, it's not about you sweetie...the lakers are there to play. i can't say how loud she was, maybe the kids didn't even hear her, cause i have been there where I have used strong words at someone without raising my voice. and like many of you guys said, kobe is out there hollering at girls (i live in L.A.....trust me....i know) and she could be frustrated that everyone knows and talks about her, yet she can't really do anything about it. in short, your bad vanessa. |

Hmmm... Well, I don't think it counts as ABUSE per se (unless she was talking TO the kids like that), but I do know you CAN raise kids without cursing in front of them. My mother never cursed, drank, or even kept male company around us, even though I'm sure she did all those things on her own time....
But it's easy to play Devil's advocate on this one, because being a mom, I know how easy it actually is to slip and curse in front of your kids if there's an effed-up situation going on! (I'm obviously made of lower-grade material than my moms...LOL) But ultimately, I think the only time I'd snap and use this kind of language on somebody in front of my babies is if they do something that might compromise their safety...like write an article that discusses their schedules.... *smirks*
