Maybe I looked over it but how the hell do you know this is even his house? Are yall concluded that since it's such a lovely home it has to belong to him? Secondly, I don't know much about foreclosures but I do know that most come from not paying your morgage company or taxes. I highly doubt it was taxes because down there property taxes aren't high at all. I know people who aren't even "balling" like that who don't even have mortgages. They get their homes by paying in cash, no loans or anything. Birdman has money. If his house was "foreclosed" it wasn't because he didn't have the money to pay for it. It was because he was just stupid enough to think it would handle itself. But come on now, we see this everyday. You see families who homes get foreclosed like it's nothing. I was in chi town a few weeks ago and you couldn't pass a street without seeing homes boarded up. Celebs think they are so powerful that they don't pay their taxes. It's nothing new. It's really sad when you think about it. That's why you gotta be careful when you get these loans. They can be worst than a credit card. You can always get your credit card taken care of but a loan man...works completely different. If you know you can barely make the first payment to get the loan, why even go through with it? |

You have made a good point. Most people who aren't from New Orleans cannot imagine what it now looks like Post-Katrina. It's a slowly working progress. I don't really blame him for not wanting the house. 98% of the neighborhoods (good and bad) still look like third world countries and Katrina happened in 2005!!! Many have not returned and many aren't returning and have just let go of their properties. He is indeed one of the lucky ones. He has the means to live comfortably wherever he pleases. So why go home when nothing is there? People are still struggling and trying to adjust after this and for some it is taking longer than others.
