I applaud Wendy for keeping her cool. Omarosa came out of the starting gate rude and obviously had another agenda. Wendy maintained her professionalism BUT if you get a chance to watch it please look at Wendy's face as they went the commercials, her lips were tooted and you could read what she was thinking on her face. I literally laughed out loud. I just thought at any moment Wendy was going to ask her to leave the set but she continued with the interview (I guess one of the downfalls of live television). Omarosa definitely has issues. She should have used it as an opportunity to sell her book but she instead came off looking very angry and evil. Well believe me, she has just received her first and last A list guest(sarcasm here), and that's as good as it gets. She's dogged out so many other celebrities, she's got to settle for the D-Listers and Omarosa is on the top of the D-Listers therefore this makes her the one and only, absolute A-lister Wendy will ever see on her show. I just saw the video and Omarosa came out looking for a fight (as usual) from the intro. First of all, why was she even invited to promote a book that hasn't even been published yet?
The fact that she came with that tired, fake book cover that she wouldn't even hold up for a camera close up shows that she had an agenda.

From looking at the tape of the show.. I was like wow, incredible. Wendy was really being nice. She could really come out of those heels, and really let her have it. @clara.. I'm not a big fan of Lisaraye, frankly, I can't stand her, but Omar tried to get with Michael, in the early beginning of him and Lisaraye. They were both presenters on a show, I think it was the Trumpet awards, the both of them were on the stage presenting together, and omar said something negative to Lisa. Lisa took a deep breath, finished the queue card reading, politely walked off the stage and cussed omar out so badly, everyone thought it was about to be a jump off. The exchange was not as serious as everyone is making it out to be.
The bigger problem that Wendy will have on her show(and I do think it will be renewed)-is the caliber of her guest. I love her radio show but she has burned A LOT of bridges and getting guest that people are really interested in is going to be problematic down the road.
Her presence this week was great but the guest were not exactly the type of people that can keep the ratings high for a long period of time. If the tv show was more like the radio show she wouldn't even need guest but that won't work on the little screen. It should be interesting to see what happens when the show comes back on for a full season |

Omarosa's actions are a reflection of HERSELF, not me or any other Black woman in America or the world for that matter.
The same people complaining about, "What are white folks going to think?" when two sistas bicker aren't saying that sh!t when a new installment of "Girls Gone Wild" is released. What Lindsay Lohan does isn't a reflection on every other white girl in the world, neither is what Paris Hilton does, nor what Britney Spears does. They make poor representatives for self. I've known my share of white girls, and I can't name ONE who got down like the aforementioned white "celebrities." I have the good sense not to stereotype people and if someone wants to stereotype me based on the Wendy v. Omarosa spat, then they're stupid and I don't need to associate with them.
I am responsible and I work every hard to keep my nose clean, not because if I err in judgment, it reflects negatively on all of my sistas, but because I want children to know that, despite the negativity you hear and see daily, there are plenty of positive people doing positive things in the world.
Wendy is a pawn of the white man. It's obvious she is self-loathing because, again, she was never that size, that color (skin bleaching), her face is different, she wears blonde wigs and weaves, her breasts have been enlarged, etc. One only alters themselves to that extent when they dislike who they are. (All and still, it didn't change WHO she is, which is her real issue.) Wendy hates herself as a Black woman, and that is also evidenced by her speech. She wants to appear and sound "racially ambiguous." Omarosa can get the skin bleaching treatments and lie and say she has vitiligo, but she's proud of being a chocolate sista and she loves chocolate brothas. Did I miss anything? |
