I really like Beyonce,' I think she is incredibly talented-her fame is well-deserved-I think she has an impeccable work ethic and a superior voice.
But I HAVE to say that this almost one year sabbatatical that she has been on has been much needed, very appreciated and much obliged.
I mean-I have to be honest, it was getting kind of sickening seeing her from 1999-2007 STRAIGHT.

is it any different from back in the day when they use to say the motown sound? true it was a genre of music that black people catered to, but eventually white people loved just as much if not more. if you ever watch those reviews where old groups from the 60's 70's etc. you see not black people but white people. even berry gordy founder of motown wanted to open up his artists to a wider audience to make more money, its called business sense to diversify, but it is up to the artist to know how to bring it in a way that they can appeal to all audiences, example michael jackson. before his craziness but he is still loved by many and still hailed as the king of pop. in fact he didn't start to decline musically speaking until he started doing r&b sounds. which is mostly only black audience. diversity is a good thing especially economically. |
