: MediaTakeOut.com reported to you that last week NFL baller Plaxico Burress was suspended for two games after an "unspecified incident." Well here goes the incident, according to the North Jersey Record:
Records show Tiffany Burress [Plaxico's wife] called police on June 2 following what she said was an argument with her husband. When officers arrived, she claimed he had grabbed her. He, in turn, said his wife slapped him in the face.SMDH....No charges were filed, but Municipal Judge Terence P. Concoran granted Tiffany Burress a temporary restraining against her husband.
The order was later dismissed by a state Family Court judge in Paterson, police said.
Police were called again on Aug. 19. According to a report of the incident, Tiffany Burress left her husband at a New York nightclub after the two got into an argument there. Plaxico Burress arrived home later and began playing loud music, it says.
Citing the couple’s small child, Tiffany Burress called police to the house, records show. She got another municipal order against her husband -- which also was dismissed at the state level.
She's a pretty woman. She looks a lot smaller than him. Now, I think men who put their hands on women-- or anything or anyone smaller then them, for that matter-- is a coward, but seriously, just because he "grabbed her" doesn't mean that he's a wife beater. For all we know, she might have been breaking [EXPLETIVE] around the house, and he grabbed her to stop her and then she slapped him in the face. Either way, to me it's not enough of a story to be labeled as "beating your wife." I think athletes are getting wise these days as to the fact that even though they are "who they are" all that money can't buy you freedom.
WHAT DID HE DO?...the MTO article says he came home and played loud music and she called the police because they have a small child another incident states that she smacked him...SHE IS STILL WITH HIM..I don't get it all of the charges were dismissed...women like this who want to call the police and still stay in the relationship troubles me THEY ARE DANGEROUS ...Sound like they like to party and then argue and when she starts feeling jealous because he his getting all the attention she tries to play him and causes a scene and then takes it to another level by jeopardizing his career by calling the police...that's called "WHEN YOUR OWNN WIFE HATES ON YOU SYNDORME' it happens to alot of brothers believe me if he would have whipped that ass she would have the marks to show it...MTO get the fact before you try to defame someone's character.

Not once in that article did it say Plaxico beat his wife. It said he grapped her and SHE SLAPPED HIM. According to this article, thats as physical as it got.

This story is a lie. Plaxico was suspended for missing practice and not notifying the team. The team tried to reach him for two days and he did not respond. This story came out a few days after his suspesion and the NFL is now investigating him for any personal policy violations. If so, then he might face further suspension.

So I guess dealing with getting your A$$ whipped on a regular is ok when you live in a big house, drive a benz, and have access to unlimited shopping with a nanny. This sounds like a very unhealthy relationship. And since there is a child involved the best thing to do is get out while you can. And if she has a career of her own and not solely depending on him then she has the means to leave. Your life and child's life is the most important, and I don't care how much money he got, a rich or poor man has no right to put his hands on a woman. And this article really is not clear about whether he beats her. But point is the next situation can lead to the beatings. You don't know that he did anything to this woman, the cases were dismissed as usually happens when a woman tries to use the "he hit me" defense and nothing like that at all happened. From the looks of her, really plain and ordinary living in a superstar's world, I would venture to say that perhaps Plaxico gave another woman a second look and the insecurity felt by his wife made her do something stupid like use the "hit me" wild card to get back at him, all this in the heat of anger and before she remembered he brought home the bacon AND the eggs. If the situation were as dire as the little wife would like one to believe then why doesn't she go to her attorney and fix it?? The reason is.... because it's not.
