I'm not a Beyonce fan. But that's the one thing I admire about her. She's not afraid of other hot women. She will merge with them and up the ante -- like she performed with Jewel, Shakira, etc. Some women don't like to be outdone on the stage.
Beyonce is so confident she's doesn't have that insecurity. That's really great, really bold.
She has worked with Briney before -- i think she and J.Lo did a pepsi commericial with Bey. However, my recollection is that they didn't get along.

NBC’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” special will feature guests Beyoncé, Tony Bennett, Neil Boyd, the Jonas Brothers, Harry Connick Jr., David Cook and Rosie O'Donnell.
The special, which will be broadcast Dec. 3 from New York City’s Rockefeller Center, also will feature performances from Broadway Kids, Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts and Solange Knowles.
WNBC-TV in New York and WVIT-TV in Hartford, Conn., will air an additional live hour of the special locally at 7 p.m. before the network broadcast.

Why not? I was so tired of hearing Whitney Houston, when she was sober, say she didn't sing with other female artists til I was tired of hearing it. Aretha Franklin has said the same thing.
Look, when God gives you a gift of voice, why not share it in different ways instead of believing your vocal cords are too good to sing with anybody else?
When Patti Labelle and Gladys Knight did their thing with "That's What Friends are For", it was on!!! They drowned out poor Dionne Warwick because she has a weaker voice. In the end jealousy flared and Patti was asked not to sing so loud. Loud is Patti. What kind of request was that? Tsk, tsk, jealousy people. You don't ask someone with a very strong voice to sing with you if you don't sing loud of are vocally enhanced in the studio. |
