Pac's mother dos not own sole right. As for the Beatles...their catalogue is considered the "bible" in the music industry. You can' compare Death Row to the Beatles, in terms of dollar value. You can't even buy downloads of most Beatles CD's. I'm not sure how great of a deal it is. However, it's good to see a black man have ownership in black history. Tupac has great replay value in his catalogues, so it may be profitable.
I don't know about this. Buying catalouges usually are sure hits but it may take sometime to the return on this investment because rap music is a totally different beast. It's not like rock or pop. Also why don't we hear about Dr. Dre or Jimmy Iovine showing intrest in this. Maybe Dre doesn't have the cash but We all know Jimmy I does. He's half of interscope. They once bought then sold Death Row back in the day.
