I work in a medical related field, and yes that is herpes on her lip, u can tell by were it's at on her mouth and if she has oral *** with anyone they would have herpes. Who ever that was that claimed to be a nurse honey ur not, Ti has the same out breaks, kd holmes, and probably 90% of the entertainment industry. Those ppl are great eye candy but so dirty.

Cold sores/fever blisters/pus filled inflammed lesions on the outside of the mouth and occasionally inside. They are caused by the herpes simplex virus type I or II. When you see them that is a sign of active viral replication making them very contagious. Not to be confused with non-contagious canker sores which occur inside of the mouth. One should know almost 80-90% of the population is exposed to the virus. Not meaning that you will contract it. But, if you do, don't feel bad about it ;) This does not make you dirty, promiscuous, or and other negative connotation that may be associated. Also, be careful when dealing with children b/c you can pass the virus along by kissing on them while you have a virally active lesion.

Herpes lies dormant in the body and there are many possibilities as to why it has not manifested in Chris. He may not have it (she could have had it before him), He could have had a lesion a couple of weeks ago, or one coming. Most people know when it's coming b/c they experience tingling or burning in the area.
Most importantly the reason we may not see it in Chris is b/c everyone's immune system responds differently. Perhaps his is fighting the virus a little harder than Rhianna's. And, perhaps her immune system is compromised. That could be via a cold/flu, stress, lack of sleep, not eating, etc... Those things give way for the virus to proliferate.

Nope you're WRONG. Cold sores are Herpes Simplex I which is a different strain than the Herpes II GENITAL virus.
Many people have Herpes I about 90% of the population. And sorry to say if you have ever been around anyone who had or gets cold sores, even if they DONT have one at the moment, and you've drank from their cup, sat in class with a kid who had a sore and used their pencil, used their same lipgloss, wiped your face with a guest towel in someones house and someone else who hade Type I used,even if you have touched a *** of paper at the office that someone with type I has touched (like when a person sifts through papers and wets their finger to sift through the paper) you may have been infected. Thats why soo many in the population have it, and its not really that big of a deal. The Cold sore herpes is usually a mild strain and it results in one small blister that last about 3-4 day, and is usually activated by too much sun, or mensturation, a COLD, or fatigue.
Its just like cold. Once you get the cold virus in your system you will always get a cold here and there and you will never get rid of the cold virus. It stays in your body and is just as contagious. You cant die from a minor cold or a minor cold sore. Its pretty much the same concept for both.
As for Type II I suggest everyone in here knows that even if you use protection you can still get Genital herpes from skin contact from the pubic area. 1 out of 4 Americans has Genital Herpes and when you break it down in the African American community, those numbers go up to 1 out of 3. The new strain of Herpes is asymptomatic meaning that you will get it, carry the antibody but you wont break out and maybe never will, or one day after being infected YEARS later you may wake up with a sore. Thats why so many people are getting infected.
The CDC doesnt even require that doctors test specifically for Herpes II (genital) unless the patient starts showing active sores, because if everyone got tested then there would be a mass panic cuz soo many people are carrying the antibodies but the virus is NOT active yet. If they become active breakouts, then they prescribe Valtrex to keep the patient from spreading since the virus is now active.
I work for the CDC and I advise alot of you to EDUCATE yourselves for your own sake and protection, and to also let you know that if you get a regular cold sore on your mouth one day, it's not the end of the world and its not like some fatal disease that will destroy your body and reproductive system and youll die an early death-lol

Correct. If your the type of person with a strong immune system, who doesnt get sick often, you may carry the Herpes antibody and never break out cuz your body is fighting off the virus. But if your the type of person with a weaker immune system, the body cannot fight off the virus as well and you end up having an active breakout. Thats why it usually takes a strong catalyst to bring on a breakout. LIke i said before a bad sunburn, or a woman getting weak with the onset of her period may get a cold sore. FYI there are women who are VIRGINS that have broken out in Herpes Type I cold sores so it is not necessarily a Sexually transmitted disease, which is yet another myth about cold sores and how people who have them are doing whorish things. Even small children may contract them

Actually if your administering oral *** to a person with in the active infection phase, wether the sore is present or about to become present, you can get Genital type II on the mouth as well.
But usually mild cold sores in the mouth are just type I and you can only decipher when the doctor takes a biopsy of the active sore and then can determine between type I and type II. Usually type two on the mouth area is a more severe outbreak, one that looks worse, ALOT worse than what Rihanna shows on her mouth.

Much like the common cold, there still is no cure, and just like the cold, people that have tested for the antibody should arm themselves w/ Valtrex.
People who dont break out, but have the antibody or people only break out one or twice a yearshould have some Valtrex in stock and take if every they get an itching or burning sensation, which can help prevent the sore from actually coming out as well as helping from spreading the virus to another person.
People who actually do break out and break out often, should be on surpressive therapy, which is instead of taking it right before they feel an itch, it is taken at a lower dose on a daily basis to keep the virus dormant.

If u were to kiss or share a drink with someone who has a cold sore, you would not contract a cold sore (or even the virus for that matter), given you have a quality immune system. Children are most at risk for being exposed to cold sores because of their still developing immune system. But if you're a healthy adult you have nothing to worry about.
HOWEVER, if you were given *oral pleasures* from a person who has a cold sore/fever blister it has the POTENTIAL to develop into Herpes Simplex 2 and cause genital herpes.
But use common sense people...if someone has a cold do you share drinks & kisses NO? So just dont do it when there's a cold sore present & you will be fine.

There's a difference between herpes simplex 1 and simplex 2, just because she has oral herpes simplex 1 doesn't mean she caught it from sucking d*ck. Even little kids get cold sores sometimes from driking after people. Although simplex 1 can sometimes mutate into simplex 2 from oral ***, it's usually caught from other people who had simplex 1. Why does MTO always have to turn it into something dirty?

If someone with a cold sore or fever blister gives another person oral....they could possibly transmit the virus resulting in HSV2 or genital herpes....
