I'm super late replying to this post, but I had to LMAO @ Vic Sage. Dude, 50 is worth more than a lot of the white investors who Bernie Madoff swindled money from. A Ponzi scheme has no race and no color other than green and that would be "how much green do you have?" There were people who were BEGGING Bernie Madoff to take their money and he refused them. If 50 "invested" 7 figures in that Ponzi scheme and lost it, he's hardly broke.
50 owned 10% of Glaceau. When Glaceau sold Vitamin Water, Coca Cola bought the company for $4.2 BILLION. 10% of that is $420 million. If you deduct 50% of that as payment for taxes, Fif was left with $210 million, not including money from his clothing line, shoe line, mixtapes, record deal, touring, television shows, movies and whatever other licensing deals he has. Dude is worth close to half-a-mill if he's not there already. 50 has Arab money, so where the hell would 7 figures break him?
There are folks who "invested" over $1 billion with Madoff and they are the ones who are broke. The first rule of investments is DO NOT INVEST ANYTHING YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE and I'm sure you know that.
Anyone who had money in hedge funds, stocks, real estate or anything that is a common investment lost money because nothing is worth today what it was six months or a year ago. As I stated months ago before the official recession announcement was made, the people who have it the easiest right now are the ones who have no money, no property, no investments and no real financial responsibilities. You can't lose what you never had.
Best wishes to 50, middle finger to all of the haters. Be careful what you project onto others, because when you come up, you may come down just as quickly because of your negative comments and energy that you pitched to folks who were on top when your ass was on th bottom.
