MediaTakeOut.com has been reporting for months that Kelly Rowland was unhappy with her management - namely, Mathew Knowles.
Well last night reports began surfacing that Kelly may have finally pulled the trigger and dumped Mathew Knowles.
MediaTakeOut.com reached out to our usual Knowles camp insider to get comment - and so far no luck. We can tell you that we spoke with a Knowles insider last week who told us that if Kelly were to leave Mathew, she'd have to pay "a pretty penny."
Why, you ask? Because according to MediaTakeOut.com's snitch, Mathew has an airtight contract with Kelly. Explains the insider, "He's contracted to get his management fee from Kelly whether he manages her on NOT."

She is 6 years too late! I am sorry, but Kelly was a fool to think Mathew cared about her. She had a good thing going in 2002 (her hit song with Nelly) and Mathew kept pushing her album back to the point no cared about her. All he cared about was Beyonce's career and no one else! Its sad he will always profit from her-----even if she leaves his management!
Its about time. Matthew has milked both Kelly and Michelle DRY! The po' thangs can't even have proper promotion of their albums under his management. It's terrible the way he treated Beyonce's "home girls". Oh well.

Since they're like family it will be like Kelly throwing Joe Jackson under the bus. However, she must do something if she wants to succeed outside of DC. In another year she'll be forgotten and just known as a 1/3 of DC. Michelle too.
Kelly should have lawyers review her contract and see when it expires. If not, perhaps she can prove that Matthew has not served in her best interests. That would cause a family feud thoug.
Kelly is nothing more that a back up singer. She has made may attemps at a solo career to no avail. She just doesnt have the chops to be in the spotlight. NOW dont get me wrong Kelly IS the best looking DC member hands down BUT to state that she is underrated is an exaggeration. She just cant cut it plain and simple. Why's that so hard to believe ?
He is slick. However, if Kelly signed a management contract with him and did not read it, or take it to an attorney- separate from her relationship with this family, then she is out of luck. He must be some slickster to have an attorney write up a contract that confinds this lady to himself without managing her career. He can assign himself for so many years, and he can also assign to have himself and his company repaid for any fees he paid out on her behalf - yea- that's where managers really get'cha. The record company is not always the one who pays out - the managers, if able, and he is, through his own daughther's success, has a lot of money. He has 'loaned" Kelly much of that - she has not made much off the records and she can hardly get a venue to support a show, so how is she living? Must of it from the contractual agreement with B's dad. Therefore, if she is bowing out, she will have to pay a pretty penny.
He has her locked up and she can't get out.

Kelly is a very nice young lady with no backbone. Funny, we do not know anything about Kelly other than her living w/the Knowles. What does her mom look like; her life story separate from them. We know nothing of Michelle as well and did he screw her over too?
Why are these ladies afraid to take control of their lives. We have seen Bey's boring ass bio on T.V., and I notice how Kelly and Michelle talk about Bey as though she's God's gift to the music industry. Did you know Kelly did a few episodes on Girlfriends. She can act; why, because she has a very sweet personality and she's down to earth. She is prettier than Bey and Michelle.
I know they have some good stories too tell about the Knowles; it's just a matter of time. Bey, is starting too show her true self and yes, Michelle did right checking her. Bey would jump on Obama if he snap for her too. Bey's next hit CAMEL WHO?
I think Kelly truly got herself screwed over...she has a nice voice, probably more acting skill than Beyonce, and could definitely do some major modeling....but heaven forbid Matthew Knowles let someone else shine! Just to clear the air..... 1. If you hire your management, you can fire your management. 2. Congratulations Kelly and I pray that you are even more successful than than Bey (I am not hatin' on Bey, but there is room for both of you at the top). It is a shame that he calls you family and his daughter, HOWEVER, you have to pay out the butt to leave him!! I don't know about y'all, but my daddy wouldn't do me like that... but she has never had a "real" father so she doesn't know any different. It will work out in your favor Kelly. You need not to affiliate with DC in any way professionally... cut them lose and stand on your own. Hang with them on vacations and holidays (if you want). There are certain people here that keep saying that Matthew is only interested in promoting his daughters, well that's not true. He is only interested in promoting Beyonce because Solange has yet to have a HIT album or song. And another thing that I wanted to bring up is...does anyone remember the issue of Vibe magazine (it came out right after Destiny's Child released Survivor), well in it, Beyonce claimed that the reason why LeToya never sang lead in the group was because she was tone deaf. I wanna know how she could lie like that when now the world knows that LeToya can blow. She is a better singer than Beyonce in my opinion because all Beyonce does is scream and do her little runs and soulful yodeling. I am not hating on Beyonce because I think that she is a decent singer, but she is way overexposed and Mathew is completely bogus and wrong in the way he does not promote Kelly, Solange or Michelle.
It's long past time that she dumped Mr. Knowles. Those of us in the business who have had any interaction with them at all know that he has underrepresented her for years, always putting Beyonce front and center when she is the inferior talent. Kelly can outsing Beyonce any day of the week, on virtually any type of music, and they know it full well. Physically, she's way more attractive as well. Mr. Knowles' marketing strategy for years has been to put his daughter out front, make her the focal point of everything and let the others sink or swim yet still pocket the proceeds. We've all just blindly bought into the great "Beyonce can sing" hoax for far too long. Here's hoping he hasn't damaged her career and opportunities beyond repair.
