Well if you have ever followed the story on the Obama's and how they met and fell in love, as well as the obstacles that strengthened their marriage you would be able to conclude that they are pretty solid. Yes, they are human and no doubt face dilemmas like everyone else, but I don't think their over all relationship is in any immediate danger. They are everything to one another and their family is their entire life which is why I believe he will be a great leader, because of the kind of country he wants to see his children raised in. Beyonce seems to be happy with her big lipped hubby and I am happy for them, but Michelle isn't worried about her, she has way more important stuff to deal with being the First Lady.

Your points are valid and very well stated. I can really enjoy stimulating, adult opposition on these threads because its rare that it happens. However, I must counter what you've stated. Yes, it is possible for a highly educated, middle to upper class woman to be insecure . But it seems you and many others are dismissing the real issue here and it is that this story and others suggest that Beyonce (and many other Black celebrity women) is trying to cause a problem in their marriage by flirting with Michelle's husband and making Michelle look like an insecure wife who has to keep tabs on her man and check any woman he encounters. This story is saying to the world that, even with one of the highest positions to hold in America, the First Lady is no better than you and me (which is true if you love and believe in yourself...but not out of arrogance or jealousy or for tabloid fodder).
And the comparison of Barack Obama to JFK bothers me to no end. The entire Kennedy clan of men were known to be womanizing, powerful men. Robert Kennedy also slept with Marilyn Monroe. Neither one of them were in love with her and this was not a secret to either of their wives. We have never heard or read stories of Jaqueline Kennedy being catty with Marilyn Monroe. As a matter of fact, Jackie Kennedy has never, until the day she died, made a comment about the affair. That, to me, was the best display of bravery and grace a public official's wife could show in the face of public scrutiny. Please expect the same from Michelle Obama.
