THE OTHER SIDE: CHRIS' PAL CLAIMS THAT RIHANNA WAS INJURED IN A CAR CRASH … NOT AN ASSAULT (DETAILS INSIDE)

February 10, 2009. A friend of Chris Brown reached out to MediaTakeOut.com, offering us this explanation of what happened on Saturday night:

[Rihanna is] outrageously jealous and insecure. So [Chris] would get into arguments and fights with her. He never hit her once but she'd [allegedly] smack him, bite him and scratch him and once he even got hit in the balls kinda' hard. So [she] got into the habit of hitting him because to her it was fine since he never hit her back.

[On Saturday night, Chris] finally told her to shut the f*ck up and it's over. So she socked the shit out of him while he was driving and kept on hitting him until he crashed into a parked car.

[Chris] then got out of the car and tried to pull her out and got hit in the face some more numerous times. Scratched up and everything.

Simply because he was done with all of the drama. Anyway when she smacked him this last time he smacked her back. So he [left Rihanna there alone].

Hurt from banging her face on the windshield/dashboard from the car accident [somebody] then called the cops and [Rihanna] told them that [Chris] whipped her ass.

[Later the next day, Chris] wanted to go get his things from her apt to go to a hotel and saw a million cop cars there.

So he left and when he sent us to retrieve his stuff, this girl didn't want to let us get his 6 bags of stuff. She said tell him to come get it himself … Tell him to answer his phone and that I'm sorry we can work this out. To which I said, hell no my friend isn't coming anywhere near here. It's too late for all of that. He just wants his luggage and you guys need never to see each other anymore….

Sh*t happens was definitely in effect and it's crazy how everyone can jump on a woman's side and not know what happened. Hind sight is 20/20 and I told [him that] he should've gotten out of the car and called the cops on her a*s when it was just him with scratches and shit.

This seems like a very interesting story. Of course we have absolutely no way to know whether it’s true or just damage control.

It does get a little tricky however. You’ll recall that initially both Rihanna and Chris’ people were claiming that Rihanna was injured in a “traffic accident.” Also, according to TMZ, their Lamborghini was towed from the scene of the alleged assault in Hancock Park to a nearby police impound lot. Could the car have been damaged???

	Chris Brown's "friend" will do him more harm than good. It has been widely reported that Rihanna had bite marks. There are witnesses who heard some of the argument and her screams. Apparently witnesses called 911. And why would Brown flee the scene if it was really a car accident? Trust me, the doctors will be able to tell the difference between injuries received in a car wreck vs. those received in a beat down. It is a bad strategy for Brown's associates to try to cover things up or tell lies to hide his brutality. They should be encouraging him to accept responsibility for his actions, and to seek help before he destroys his career. Brown also needs to find himself the best public relations professional available to help him manage his image during this crisis. The homeboys don't have the media skills to manage this. I think that the public will respond better to contrition than to finger-pointing.

The car can easily be swiped and checked for blood marks, spatter patterns, etc to prove wether there was an accident or not. If Rihanna was still acting crazy before or after the car crash, he should have went down the street or somewhere, call 911 and stayed on or near the scene so he could clear himself about the injuries she had. He then could have called his publicist/manager to meet him at the scene so he could have someone there to back up the car crash story. When Rihanna got examined at hospital I am sure the doctors could determine if the head injuries came from a windshield/dashboard or from Chris's fist. Instead, he takes the keys, runs away to God knows where leaving her there alone with injuries, hires a lawyer and then turns himself in. His actions after the fact makes him look suspect and harder for people to believe him, if indeed, the above story is true. He should be defending himself not having stories coming from third parties. This story sounds like nothing more than damage control instead of the truth about what really happen.

	My prayers and heart goes out to both of them. Their so very young and don't really know what a mature love entails. Love is not abusive in any way. Love is not perfect everyday,but it is very beautiful and free. Love is not smothering one another and controlling each other. Trust, a healthy and lively communication is neccessary to it's survival. Love brings joy and togetherness, not violence ending in saddness of this kind. Rihanna and Chris must take a break from one another. Permenant or not, they need to learn to control what they could not. That is how they got to this point. I pray for her recovery. I pray for his sanity. No one is right in hitting each other. A man NEVER STRIKES A WOMAN OUT OF ANGER!!!, walk away and take a breath and thank God up above Chris did not kill her. For any young woman who reads this... God made you loveable, beautiful, his special girl. No man who respects and loves and trusts the father, son and holy ghost would never result to such demonic blunders as domestic violence. LADIES DON'T NOT CHALLENGE A MAN TO FIGHT. You were not meant to win. God designed you with strength, emotions, a heart, soul/spirit. That does not make you passive, it makes you a woman of God. Men you were designed to use your physical strength to protect your woman and family against enemies. Not to abuse your queen. Love is all we need. Bless the lord God.
