i haven't read any one else's comments, so i don't know if anyone has said this already, but...
I agree that there's NEVER an excuse to hit a woman and by Chris being in the public eye and having so many teenage fans, he should've considered how his actions affect his career. It's crazy for him to believe that he could still hit her and still live out his dream. It was completely irresponsible and many fans are disappointed.
Either way, I'm still a little skeptical about Rihanna's sanity. She seems very controlling and possessive.

To be honest guys, I always thought Chris and Rhi made a cute couple; however, I also felt that Rhi may have been a bit too much for him. As I recall, early in Chris' career, his mom was very strict about his interaction with women...whereas Rhi on the other hand was a bit more "seasoned" in the relationship department. I do believe that Rhi has a temper, and like some women, she may have been threatening to do different things, and pushed him over the top...There is a such thing as "temporary insanity". There are also what is called "crimes of passion". While I dont condone or justify Chris' behavior in any way, shape, or form...I have to believe that this is not his typical behavior. This is tragic, but if she did hit the guy then in my opinion he has every right to hit her back. We only know one side of the story. We don't know what or how she hit him to make him lose control. People talk about about that a man should not hit a woman, That's true if the woman did not hit him. I don't get this logic that a man should be a punching bag and not hit back. Women hit hard too. I dont know how to feel anymore. I definitely feel sorry for Rihanna. No one deserves that and she probably really loves this guy so shes hurt physically and emotionally. I don’t agree with their decision at all. The radio station is a public entity and anyone should be able to tune their dial to a station and hear their favorite artists. Not everyone is in agreement on what they believe took place between these two people. I do not agree with the idea that it is not okay to hit a woman as if to say there is some sort of physical inequality that only exists between men and women. How about saying it's never okay the beat up anyone. Because her facial injuries must heal, additional dates are sure to be cancelled, as well. Oh... believe it. She is losing also.
BTW, as the healing process occurs, we don't know the full extent of Rihanna's injuries & what length of recovery time wil be required. Whether she received stitches, will have a need for plastic surgery, however minute or whether there were broken bones.

Rihanna has to heal emotionally & who knows how long that will take. Her boyfriend, NOW EX-boyfriend tried to MURDER her by strangulation!

She was admitted early Sunday AM and then released on Monday night. a day and a half of medical observation also supports the reports of a "horrific" beating.
