MediaTakeOut.com spoke with an insider at one of Barbados' most popular radio stations who explained, "No one is playing Chris Brown records in Barbados .... the ban will go on indefinitely."

Well, I am in ChristChurch, Barbados right now and I listen to socca all day long. I have heard a lot of music from the states, but no Chris Brown. You know, he's wrong for putting his hand and/or teeth on her. If what they said really transpired, then he should have stepped away and called the cops himself. We are also highly developed as compared to numerous other countries. We’ve been the host of Golf World Championship World Cup 2006 (which facilitated the Who Is Who is golf), Cricket World Cup 2007 and I can go on. This only goes to show, that we have state of the art facilities and not mud shaks. We have Olympic medalist – Obadele Thompson Bronze in 100 m (2003). I personally like both Chrissy & Ri Ri but I listen to Chris more and own two original copies of his albums. As far as I know Chrissy’s music hasn’t been legally banned in Barbados but some DJs have chosen not to play it in support of Rihanna. Personally I think it is a load of crap because none of us know what truly happened. The only ones who know the truth are the two of them and GOD. The illiterate Americans on this site are putting down Barbados and its citizens but they seem to forget that their stations have stopped playing his music as well. Banning his music is stupid because despite everything he is talented and to be fair I think they should ban them both. Rihanna is my homegirl and I will love her regardless but I will not support her simply because she is a Bajan. You do not back someone because of their nationality, race, gender, religion or otherwise. You back someone because they are right and deserving of such support. Chris put it out there that he grew up watching his mother being abused and I think that people should take into consideration the effect that could have on a young life.
