The three became embroiled in a spate of bad publicity last weekend when Brown allegedly assaulted Rihanna the *** before the Grammys. Brown allegedly punched and bit his girlfriend during an argument in their rented Lamborghini. He was later arrested. Their romance may be history, we think. Strange things happen to couples in these kind of disputes, as anyone in law enforcement will tell you.
The incident is now somewhere between a criminal investigation, canceled concerts and disappearing endorsement deals. Some are comparing Brown to another bad-boy namesake — Bobby Brown.
Amid all this drama are all the unfounded Internet rumors, from Brown knocked Rihanna out cold to Rihanna's discovery that Brown had a scheduled "booty call" with Paris Hilton. One that supposedly sparked the melee stands out: Rihanna gave Brown genital herpes, which she allegedly picked up from Jay-Z.
It will be up to the cops and courts to sort out who-said-and-did-what and why. The genital herpes rumor, though, should serve as a reminder that sexually transmitted disease remains enough of a health threat that it can't be easily dismissed by anyone, including mega-stars of a lavish yet sexually charged niche of the music industry.

Everyone is saying that Rihanna gave Chris Brown Herpes, but around 80% of people have HSV-1 and do not know it. HSV-1 can be contracted by kissing,drinking behind someone, sharing lip gloss, and is mostly passed at childhood from aunts and uncles when kissed. You do not have to contract that sexually!! HSV-2 is the virus that causes Herpes on the genitals. NOW you can have either hsv-1 or hsv-2 on the lips or on the genitals. A lot of people have hsv-1 and do not know it because if you have never got a cold sore it will lead you to believe that you do not have it. I bet if anyone of you got tested for hsv-1 it will come up positive. What I get from their story is simply an analyzation of these internet theories floating around“about” the actual rumors. They clearly said this rumor “stands out”. And they carefully refer to the rumor as unfounded. Yet they do go on to say that if this were the actual cause of the breakup and /or fight, do we or should we expect the hip hop community/Jayzee to begin a campaign against std’s?The suggestion is that “he should”. Being that the rumor is strong, and likely has some validity.
That is the point being addressed in all of this, and one in which you all should address. Kudos to them for looking at that aspect of the story. Young teens need to be awakened more and more to the riskiness of unprotected *** with “so called” boyfriends who are merely playing house with no intent to be “faithful” at age 19 . What better couple to act as spokes person than these two? They take your cd and concert money, and leave you with drama and intrigue and few answers.. Hmmmm. HOLLYWEIRD is a place of debauchery and promiscuity. I've read (from reputable white magazines) that stars such as Britney Spears, Paris HIlton, Christina Aguillera and Lindsey Lohan had genital herpes. Such stories like these speaks volumes of the sheer nastiness that goes on in Hollyweird. All that glamour, "high" lifestyle, fancy clothes and cars MEANS absolutely NOTHING when I hear stories such as these. The fame, GLITZ, and GLAMOUR is nothing but a SHAM and a FACADE to make us ordinary people believe that this is the life we have to aspire to. These STARS at the end of the day, when they take off the fancy gowns, corsets, weaves, make-up, and pumps are nothing but ordinary people like us who deal with the emotions, drama, and pains of life. The only thing that seperates us from them is money and money can never buy happiness.
Young people quit looking to these STARS as if they're HOLIER THAN THOU. You do have a point…but I think the ladies theories are based or centered around this one fact… "Sexually transmitted diseases are spread through semen and vaginal fluids".
So the assumption that men are heavy contributers of stds is not far fetched being that more semen is introduced in unprotected ***,than in vaginal secretions.
Also, men are more like to participate in both oral and vaginal ***, than are women, and heighten their risks. Many women still tend to shy away from giving “head” to a man, unless in a serious relationship. While men seem to relish in “going down” as if though it’s some sort of right of passage.
Finally, men have fewer symtoms and go undetected for long periods of time, and thus never get treated.
Again, this is just my opinion and observation , as I see it, and I am not male bashing. Because at the end of the day, the number of sexual partners of either parties (without protection) is the biggest contributer.
