Here's what one of the gossip weeklies is saying:
Chris is already building his case. He's saying she threw a phone at him, then hit him in the head and basically just lost it. He's saying she attacked him.So ... lets get this straight ... 5 foot 7 inch Rihanna throws phone at 6 foot 2 inch Chris Brown. And so in DEFENDING himself, he gets to repeatedly punch her in the face and head ... and then bite her.

Penal Code Section 422 defines a criminal threat as any threat made with the specific intent of making another person fear death or great bodily injury.
NOWHERE does it say PHYSICALLY hurting someone or whooping their azz. In other words, if I 'SAID' I was going to kill you, you believed me, but I NEVER laid a hand on you, I could be charged with criminal threat.

By law, whether she hit him first or not assualt charges can still be brought against him due to the nature and severity of her injuries. Self defense, in his case, would be a very weak strategy because of the extensive bruising to her face which he allegedly caused.
And just because he hasn't been charged yet doesn't mean he won't be. This case is still under investigation and evidence is being gathered whether Rihanna cooperates with the police or not.

I'm sure they looked out of the window to see what the hell was going on, for real. It not just ONLY Chris & RHI that know what really happened. They were NOT the only two there. The only lack of evidence they have is Rihanna not cooperating probably. They are only trying to build a case without her. If not the case goes down the drain. I believe they are trying to get up extra stuff because this is a high profile case. If this was anyone else they would have been in jail.
Well, if that is what it was then that is what he should say. It doesn't make what he did right, but that is the reality of it all. So what if she is 5'9 and he is 6'1. She still is violent and lost custody of one of her children (a 5 year old) for beating him so badly that his penis was bleeding and swollen. The school reported it. The police to him away. He has never been back in her home since then. People look at her and think she does not seem that way - well some people are better at hiding it and that includes women. Chris may have snapped. Maybe Rihanna is always violent towards him. You don't know sh*t. A woman can wreck a young man's life because we always assume they are innocent. There are some conniving, abusive women out there too. I like Chris and Rihanna as pop artists, but we need to leave them alone with this gossip mess. Snapped is my show. I love it but seriously, the reports said Rihanna went to get out the car and he pulled her back in, and she pretending to call someone so they have have the cops at her location. Some people dont like the cops and they may have set him off. Besides the car keys situation as well.

To just blanket statement this whole thing and say he is wrong for hitting her back, I'm curious to see how many of you, while driving down the highway being beaten in the head, and having things thrown at you, would be able to think and react as rationally as you claim here. I would pay money so see these people who claim they would be polite about someone goin upside their head while they are driving. Hindsight is 20/20, so its all good to talk about what you would have done had you been in that situation. Anyone crazy enough to start a fight with the driver of the car you are riding in, while the car is moving, and then take the keys out of the ignition while the car is moving and throw them out the window, I don't know about yall, but that is pretty suspect behavior.
