During Oscar week in L.A. not only did they stay in separate hotel rooms, but they slept in completely separate hotels! “Everyone was shocked, because they’re married,” an insider tells Star. “Sure, not all husbands and wives sleep in the same beds, but most at least stay in the same hotel!”We’re not at all surprised at this report. I don't know anything about the two's personal life, but in my opinion, Beyonce is doing any and everything to keep herself busy so that she does not have time to produce the children that Jay-Z said himself he wants. I watched (not heard or read second hand) and interview where Jay-Z tells the person that he wants to have 4 children as his parents did and live in the house with the white picket fence. And again I've seen the interview where Beyonce tells Ellen that she does want children,just not any time soon. She claims to have witnessed her sister giving birth and that traumatized her. I mean Jay-Z is knocking on 40's door. Knowing children are a big issue when it comes to some marriages, I feel they should have respected each others opinion in the matter before they wed.

This isn't surprising at all. When artists are promoting - like when Bey stayed in a hotel in Manhattan - they've got stylists, hair and make-up, assistants etc - they don't want all those people up in their home 24/7 so that's why they just handle their business in a hotel. They travel with a lot of people and come Oscar time - all hotels are booked up - maybe they couldn't get the amount of rooms needed to handle both their entourages in the same hotel.

IN OTHER WORDS SOMETIMES MARRIAGE IS A BUSINESS-NO REAL LOVE INVOLVED. Just as Jazmine Sullivan sang...just b/c we love each other doesn't mean we were meant to be together. Marriage is partially business but it should be about love. When you look at those old couples sitting on their porches still hand in hand in love, that is b/c life should be about love. Not how much money you have. Even the richest man on the planet can die lonely in his bed or die surrounded by people waiting for him to die to get his money. There is obviously no 'real love' in this relationship. It is about image, looks, and how much money the other person has. Why get married...should just stay single.

I'm sure it's...normal. I mean, I would want my space sometimes, too, but it does come off a little weird. Mostly because I've grown up with this notion that when you're married you're always supposed to sleep in the same bed. Whatever. But their relationship's always been kind of secret, so it's that "never know" factor. On top of that, she did say she didn't want to have any children. So...I don't know.
