: MediaTakeOut.com has caught wind of a SAD story. Apparently Chilli from TLC is dating convicted woman beater (and Kansas City Chiefs running back) Larry Johnson. The two had been trying to keep their relationship on the low … but now it’s out.
Why is it sad, you ask??? Well, not only is Larry currently being sued by a woman who claims that he SPIT ON HER in a club. But, as MediaTakeOut.com has reported to you before, he’s been ARRESTED for beating two of his ex-girlfriends.
Don’t believe us– well here’s an excerpt from an old Associated Press story:
Chiefs running back Larry Johnson was arrested and charged on Monday September 13, 2005 for domestic abuse in an altercation with his girlfriend at a bar an early Saturday morning, the Associated Press reports. Allegedly, Johnson’s girlfriend spotted him with another woman and confronted her, at which point Larry grabbed and shoved his girlfriend to the ground. According to the report, Johnson turned himself in, was cited for domestic abuse assault, posted bond, and was released….Chilli … girl … you’re asking for a heap of trouble…. ASK JULISSA!!!While this is unfortunately not all that uncommon, complicating matters is the fact that, according to the Kansas City Star, Johnson struck a deal with local prosecutors in February 2004 to avoid domestic violence charges over an incident in which he allegedly slapped a woman and threatened her with a handgun. Part of that deal was a two-year probation which this recent incident would presumably violate.

The charges were dropped when Johnson agreed to participate in a domestic violence diversion program. In 2005, he was again arrested for assault when a woman accused Johnson of pushing her to the ground, but the case was dropped after the alleged victim failed to appear in court for three different hearings.
His third arrest for assault came on February 24, 2008, after allegedly pushing a woman's head at a nightclub on February 24.[12] Johnson is scheduled to appear in court on December 3, 2008, and faces a maximum sentence of six months in jail and a $500 fine.[13]
On October 10, 2008, Johnson was arrested for the fourth time and charged with one count of non-aggravated assault for allegedly spitting a drink in a woman's face at a Kansas City nightclub on Oct. 10.[14] The woman involved, Ashley Stewart, has since filed a civil suit against Johnson, accusing him of negligence, assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress.[15]
Might sound crazy to some people, but all batterers don't beat every woman they date! Some women bring out the dark side of men, because they are also dark and seek that kind of attention. If you know a man has a history of violence I would advise you to keep searching, but she seems like a cheerful and pleasant person so maybe she shines light on his spirit and he's happy with her. I believe this. But it also depend on the person mental state. Some men are simply crazy tho. So there is no changin' them. But I've known a man who use to fight his ex but he never layed a finger on his wife. Some women know how to deal with certain kinda men. So you neva know. People are unpredictable.
I dont know about his past but they really look into each other. HE is holding her hand which is a sign of affection so he seems to have something there. Maybe he dated a bunch of triflin women I dont know.
What I do know is when you first date someone always have both eyes and ears open before falling in love. Listen to people talk to their exes, mom, friends etc. Some people change but again we all have our moments so take caution.

Where in my post did I say it was ever right for any man to hit a woman under any circumstances?! Any woman who's in a abusive relationship thinking' they need to change themselves obviously had no self esteem from the beginning. Don't put that on me now. My post simply stated that 'Some' men will show more respect for a woman depending on how she carry herself or how much she values respect from a man. This is fact ma. Dreayonn, we all have different opinions and I deal with my opinions on facts, fact is self-esteem is an indicator on how much abuse a woman will take but it isn't the reason why women stay or don't leave, abuse isn't just physical it comes in all kinds of stripes and it can be very subtle, there is emotional, verbal and mental which are the worse cases! Some may not even realize they are in a damn abusive relationship if they are not being physically abused..
