It would have helped to have a explanatory caption accompany this pic - looks like he's giving his stamp of approval on prostitution. No one is suggesting that as mayor he has to behave like a clergyman but it's obvious that his responsibility as mayor is certainly one he doesn't take very seriously.
If he's determined to be photo'd with troubled and vulnerable young women for sale he should at least bring some clothing next time to cover their undergarments, and try and pretend he cares about his community.

Real Story on the pictures:
The pictures were taken in 2006 on the corner of Farish and Hamilton Streets in Jackson. A car club in Jackson was conducting a photo shoot after 5pm that day, so the ladies in the pictures are wannabe models, not prostitutes or strippers. After the photo shoot started, the mayor's caravan, with police officers, was heading down Farish Street stopping at Peaches Restaurant. When the mayor came out of Peaches, he saw the tricked-out cars on the corner and walked toward them. While talking to the car club members, one of the models approached him and asked to take a picture with him. He agreed and then the other models also had their pics taken. Even some of the officers rolling with the mayor took pictures with the car club members. People can judge all they want about whether he should have taken the pics or not, but this is how it went down. |

i live right here in jackson ms and 1st off yall got Frank messed up, that man is a millionaire and his wife is a dr! he used to own the tv station before becoming head of the mbn (ms bureau of narcotics) then he became mayor from there. Frank aint no joke and please dont think he is!!! He has tried to clean up the city, and he does still sometime walk around with his badge on because e use to patrol the city just like the cheif of police, puttin up road blocks, the whole nine!!!
