Like I said before, his preference in who he chooses to date is his personal choice and business. However, if Omarion expects to be successful in moving CD units, he must cater to the fantasies of his fan base - the majority who are dark-skin women. He does not have to go as far as to date them but he has to publically conduct himself in a way that will appeal to this group in order to be successful especially since his musical talents are expendable (he’s not a Stevie Wonder). This is not about black women whining about not feeling validated by society or their lack of self-esteem. It is about strategic marketing if the fan base is turned off, they are going to shop elsewhere.

Good choice on camp. She's going to love it. Me and my siblings went to camp when I was little and camp still holds a lot of good memories. Good posts! I am guilty of preference. As you can see in my post, i readily admit to a preference for dark skinned men. But my fiancee' is actually a caramel color. The point is, a real problem only exist when one will not allow their heart and minds to decide, and allows color to supercede rational reasoning skills. Even more so, when it comes to dating. I would never go so far as to say, light men are played out. I've seen women recite such ignorance, and later fall in love with and marry a light man. So, it's really just silly talk that women do.
