You see, yesterday Dirk (the star forward for the Dallas) went to court and filed for sole custody of his ex-girlfriend's unborn baby. The baby’s mother, Crystal Taylor, was arrested last month on a warrant for theft of services - she faces significant time in prison. Crystal also has a history of being a fraud and a scammer.
If Dirk wins his case – he’ll not only be granted full custodial rights as a parent, but he won’t have to pay Crystal ANY child support.

it's a shame that he's letting her rot in the Lew Steritt Justice center in Dallas. That facility has one of the worst records in the country for giving medical attention to inmates. With no pre-natal care that baby might come out deaf dumb and stupid. If Dirk really cared about that baby he wouldn't let it be born in that h3llhole
I think especially the fact that his babymama faces time in prison,Dirk does have the right to seek custody of the unborn baby.Its a shame that Crystal will be unable for a while to be a mother to the baby.But i hope that Dirk will allow Crystal to have weekly or weekend visitations in jail with the baby,he can have a friend or family member accompany him if he wishes no contact with her.She needs help for her problems.Dirk is doing the right thing.
That's because he's SMART. I've often wondered why most of these celebs and ballers don't do the same. Hire a nanny like the rest of the rich when you're working. It's certainly cheaper than setting your BM up for 18 years with a mini-manse, luxury car, never ending shopping sprees PLUS child support. SMH
sleeping with/dating a grupie. these grupies are just that...theft of services, a fraud and a scammer. now because of it court battles and a child being used as a pond to get money or to keep from paying child support. And who will raise the kid if he wins? The grandmother or hired help....the child grows up without a mother and has to deal with having a mother in jail and father who has a job that really won't let him be a father.....a mess!!! its the children that suffer
